The AVN6620’s navigation directions are conveniently heard through the car speakers so the driver can always keep eyes on the road and not on the screen. Views from optional front view and back view cameras are also seen onscreen, helping the driver out of tight spots. The AVN6620’s emergency search function will provide detailed information for police and hospitals in emergency situations.

Using the SIR-ECL2nt option allows realtime onscreen traffic conditions, congestion,

open streets and other useful driving information to complement AVN navigation and reduce driving stress.

Equipped with a speed sensor and gyro control for uninterrupted navigation.Gracing any compatible console with a perfect fit creates a factory-fit look and the sleek design enhances car interiors. The wider 7 ˝ screen size allows large, easy-to-see icons for operation.

incorporate digital amplification’s important advantages to mobile digital amplifiers

where significant power is demanded but space is at a premium and heat

generation needs to be minimized. The ECLIPSE solution satisfies the most

stringent requirements as well as producing extraordinary sound quality.

ECLIPSE power amplification now comprises 4 amplifiers that utilize digital

technology in a masterful combination of high tech digital circuitry, compact

dimensions and striking looks. Class D operation featuring a switched mode

amplifier topology allows these units to deliver rock-solid operation even into

difficult–to-drive 2-ohm loads at high efficiency and with minimal heat. Less heat is

generated requiring less heat sinking to make installations in limited spaces easier

In an ICEpower® analog circuit the analog signal is modulated into a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal with the Controlled Oscillation Modulator (COM). Then after the power stage, this PWM signal feeds back into the Multivariable Enhanced Cascade Control (MECC) where it is compared to the original input signal and any differences are compensated for to eliminate power stage-induced distortion. Others• Do not remove the HDD from the head unit. ECLIPSE

is not responsible for any loss of data, damage or malfunction to the disk drive mechanism resulting from unauthorized removal or tampering with the HDD.

• Some recent audio discs may resemble conventional music CDs but are technically not Compact Discs (CD Red Book format) because of the copy protection technology employed. ECLIPSE cannot guarantee operation and performance if these discs are used.

• DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW playback is possible only for discs formatted for video mode.

• VR (Video Recording) mode-recorded discs and discs not fi nalized will not play in the unit.

• Some PC-authored discs may not play due to software application settings during authoring.

• DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW and CD-R/RW playback quality may be affected by disc surface condition and disc format initialization process.

• DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD and CD-R/RW discs may not operate perfectly on unit due to disc imperfections.

• DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD and CD-R/RW disc performance may suffer if a disc exhibits excessive wear, dirt and scratching

• ATRAC3 is an effi cient compression codec for digital music fi les, allowing fi les to take up just 1/10 their uncompressed size without degrading audio quality.

• Optimal MP3 and WMA fi le reproduction quality depends greatly on the original encoding process. Depending on the original encoding, fi les may sometimes not play back properly.

• Playback of song data is only possible on Magic Gate-compatible memory stick devices.

• Memory Sticks up to 128MB can be used. Initialization must be executed with Windows 2000 or later.

• ECLIPSE is not responsible for any data loss on a Memory Stick or HDD due to unit failure or malfunction.

• Song storage can be less than the representative number of song fi les depending on each song’s bit rate and sampling frequency.

• Place USB devices and/or extension cords in a safe place where they do not interfere with driving.

• The USB connector on the front panel is only for USB Mass Storage Class memory devices.

• Compatible with USB1.1 and USB2.0 (max. transfer rate 12Mbps, equivalent of USB1.1)

• ECLIPSE is not responsible for any data loss on a USB device due to unit failure or malfunction.

• Do not disconnect a USB device while in use. Replacing it or terminating power during usage may damage stored data.

• Some USB devices may not function properly, depending on a USB device’s condition and specifi cations.

• Products listed in this catalog are not compatible with multi-partition USB devices or USB hubs.

• To prevent permanent loss of important data, always backup data.

• Devices that require large current (bus power) may not function properly.

• Music fi les with copyright protection may not be reproduced.

Operation notes• DVD-Video compatible units are only compatible with

NTSC standards and Region-1 DVD-Video discs.• DVD-Video is disabled when the vehicle is in motion.

• The Global Positioning System or GPS was developed in the United States. It is a system that pinpoints a current position making use precisely of radio waves transmitted to earth from 3 or 4 GPS satellites.

• GPS data can sometimes be unavailable due to circumstances such as:

• Interrupted GPS satellite radio waves because of geographical interference factors such as buildings, tunnels, elevated roads and similar conditions.

• Unsatisfactory reception due to objects being on or in the near vicinity of the GPS antenna.

• Interrupted transmission service may sometimes result from periodic maintenance or upgrades being performed by the US-based GPS tracking control system.

• Transmission can be interrupted or degraded when a digital cellular operating on a 1.5GHz frequency rate is being used in the vicinity of the GPS-enabled unit.
