1 Remove the seat.

2 Remove the fuel tank.

3 Secure the PCIII in the tail sectionusing the stock band.

4 Route the PCIII harness towards thefront of the bike along the left handside of the frame (Fig. A).

5 Route the PCIII harness along the lefthand side frame tube (Fig. B).

6 Remove the bolts in the air box lid(Fig. C).

7 Remove the 4 bolts that hold the airbox to the throttle bodies (Fig. D).

8 Disconnect the air box temp sensorand hoses leading to the air box.

9 Remove the air box from the bike.

10 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe injectors (Fig. E).

11 Plug the PCIII connectors in-line ofthe stock wiring harness and fuelinjector (Fig. F) for both cylinders

Connect the ORANGE colored wiresof the PCIII to the left hand cylinder.

12 Locate the Throttle Position Sensorconnector on the left hand side of thethrottle bodies.

13 Unplug the TPS connector from thethrottle bodies to gain access to thewiring harness.

14 Crimp the supplied wire tap to theYELLOW wire with the WHITEstripe of the TPS harness (Fig. H).

15 Connect the GREY wire from thePCIII to the wire tap (Fig. H)

Note: It is recommended to use dielectricgrease on these connections.

16 Connect the TPS harness back ontothe throttle bodies.

17 Connect the ground wire from thePCIII to the negative side of the bat-tery (Fig. J).

18 Reinstall the air box.

19 Reinstall the fuel tank and seat.
