What a fun and activity filled year this has been for our Lower School. Your teachers have gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping to make this one of our best years ever. As you read this yearbook, the memories of the years events will come rushing back to you. From our Terry Fox Run to our year end Sports day, the activities are too numerous to mention. Your participation in all that we do makes the effort so worthwhile for us, your teachers and parents.

I would like to thank all of our teachers and parents for helping us have such a successful year. I would also like to thank the Yearbook staff for doing such a marvellous job with this year's additon of Perspective. I will treasure it always.

· Seeing all the photographs in the yearbook, whether it is in the classroom, on a field trip, at a special event or involved in co-curricular activities, will remind you of all the exciting experiences and wonderful events that marked the school year. From the early days of September to the final days in June, the Lower School classrooms and hallways were filled with students busily engaged in the learning process.

Special events as the Terry Fox Run, Halloween, the Holiday Concert, music assemblies, the Oochathon, Pyjama Day; trips to places like Camp Oochigeas, Norval, the Science Centre, Chudleigh's Apple Farm, the AGO and City Hall; as well as the many creative activities and outstanding presentations in which the students participated in their classrooms have all been captured in photographs for you to enjoy over and over again.

Putting this yearbook together took many hours of work for Katherine Almeida, Anne Bell and Ana Luizinho. They have produced an incredible record of school life within these pages that shows just how much fun we have learning at the York School. We greatly appreciate their efforts!
