Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr. is a husband, father, pastor, author, professor, conference speaker, and church planter. He currently serves as the Pastor of Preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, TX. Voddie’s area of emphasis is Cultural Apologetics. He helps ordinary people understand the significance of thinking and living Biblically in every area of life. Dr. Voddie Baucham, Jr. holds degrees from Houston Baptist University (BA in Christianity/BA in Sociology), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar (M.Div.), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.),
an honorary degree from Southern California Seminary (D.D.), and additional post graduate study at the University of Oxford, England (Regent’s Park College). Voddie and his wife, Bridget, have nine children: Jasmine, Trey (Voddie, III), Elijah, Asher, Judah, Micah, Safya, Amos, and Simeon.

Pastor Cary Green Pastor Cary Green, and his wife, Lois, will be sharing their experience of homeschooling their eleven children in former East Berlin Germany, where Hitler’s prohibition of homeschooling still remained in effect. The day came when they were given an ultimatum – enroll the children in a German school, or leave the country. From this vantage point, the Greens will also give insight into the steady decline of the public school system in America. Get ready to be encouraged by our current homeschool liberties, and at the same time, challenged to protect our homeschooling rights in the future.

Christian heritage Home Educators of Washington, a state-wide, Christ-centered organization, was founded with a vision to encourage families toward excellence in Biblical, home-based education, while helping parents pass on a Godly heritage to future generations, for God’s glory.
Christian heritage offers an array of annual events to supply the support you and your family need. These events, as well as our website resources, are designed to help you not only teach your children academic and practical skills, but even more importantly, to help you raise a generation of children who are prepared to powerfully impact the world for God’s glory.
