Business Development (BD) is a Functional Unit designed to win contracts through a

process of identifying contracts and gathering information through marketing (talking

with individuals) and capture (getting equipment, staffing, etc.). We win contractsthrough intelligence gathering uncovering contract needs and requirements during vis

and other research. Information is gathered and when its time , we write the proposal

and submit it to government contract evaluators. Once we submit our proposal, we th

anxiously wait for them to decide who wins and starts work on the awarded contract.

Currently Tiguas official BD Staff has three employees: Mark Kopca, Craig Sparkman, a

Doug Creighton. However, in reality, YOU are all BD staff. YOU are all marketers and

capture staff. In many cases, you are the most essential element in our BD process. You

daily interaction with people outside the office often brings opportunities to light for us

pursue as a possible contract win. Your gathered information is incredibly valuable in

identifying and writing proposals. For example; any time you mention Tigua, you are

branding/advertising our company. Many times you will be asked what Tigua does and

opens the door to ask them what they do. Just general conversation in what you hear

and say can gain Intel and influence individuals or companies in wanting moreinformation, and as in any business, advertising and information are the key to success

and it cant be done by a few because it takes all of our support and influence.

Doug, Mark, and Craig are Part of the Business Development Team, Bringing

    Tigua Enterprises, Inc. Business!

In 2012, Tigua Transportation experienced a very eventful year, in which we experience

our freight division, we have acquired a contract with the Railroad transporting produc

In addition, in our fuel division, we acquired local government contracts, as well as city

and county contracts. Tigua Transportation has developed and implemented a new

marketing system by standardizing a new color scheme and logo.

    Connecting with TribalChildren!

    Tigua Inc. supported the 2012

    Tribal Foster Children Christmas

Party. Many of Tigua staff members

played a vital role in making the

    Foster Children Christmas Party a

    success. Each child was provided

with a heavy coat to keep them

warm during the winter season, a

stocking filled with fruit, candy, and

a hand written Christmas card from

John Baily, CEO of Tigua Inc. we

also provided the children with $100dollars worth of gifts for each child.

    n addition, Tigua employees, CDS,

and the elders helped to prepare a

    Christmas dinner with the traditional

turkey and ham set up. Many Tigua

    vendors and well-known

    companies that do business with

Tigua were happy to support such a

    wonderful cause. This helped Tigua

    to get outside companies to

    participate with the Tribe and

allowed us to describe who we are

to the local community. The bestpart of the Christmas Party was

    seeing the childrens happiness!

There was coloring booths, a variety

of snacks, food, drinks and deserts

for our Tribal children and families.

Supporting our tribe is what Tigua

nc. was built to do. We are here to

help build a strong foundation for

    our Tigua Nation. The foundation

    starts with the children, because

they must believe in what we are

doing, so that they may take over

the Tigua Inc. legacy. It was a great

honor to support the Tribal Children

and we look forward to doing it

again this year and many years to

    come. John Baily, CEO

    Projects With and Forthe Tribe!
