When it comes to the dimensioning guidelines I print off the old PowerPoint that we used to use, print it in handout format and give to students to cut out. They then glue the notes into their engineering notebooks and outline in red and green marker if the rule is showing the correct form of that guideline or if it is incorrect.

The pictures help my lower and sped students with understanding the guidelines. I will also print the incorrect version as a poster and leave the word incorrect off so that students have to identify the wrong dimensions on the drawing. They love the hands on and it is easier for them to find in their engineering notebooks.
