All grades are intended for critical systems that demand a high temperature and high performance hydraulic fluid that is also readily biodegradable. They are particularly effective for applications where there is a possibility of environmental contamination or environmental hazard due to accidental fluid spill or leakage. The use of 1040 Synthetic Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil should be considered in unattended or outdoor equipment such as in timber harvesting, service fleets, and construction machinery or wherever ground or water contamination is a problem with petroleum lubricants.
