Model G & F1 - Open Standard (Spray) Uprightand Pendent SprinklersModels G and F1 standard upright and pendentsprinklers distribute water laterally and downward in awide pattern approximating a half sphere. Thishemisphere is completely and uniformly filled with waterin the form of small drops and spray. A circular area, from12 to about 20 ft. (3.7 to 6.1m) in diameter, is covered 10ft.(3.0m)below thesprinklerat minimum water dischargepressure. See Technical Bulletins 110 and 117.

Model G & F1 - Conventional Open Style Sprinkler This deflector configuration is used primarily in thosecountries where the LPC installation rules haveprecedence. The sprinkler distributes approximately 60%of its water discharge upward against the ceiling with the

balancedownward.It maybe installed in eithertheuprightor pendent position. Sprinklers with conventionaldeflectors are available with orifice sizes correspondingtolight, ordinary and extra–hazard installations.See Technical Bulletins 110 and 117.

Model G & F1 - Open Sidewall SprinklersThis deflector configuration is designed for use wherestandard sprinklers are deemed impartial because ofdecorative or structural conditions. It dischargesapproximately 15% of the water on the wall behind it withthe remaining 85% discharged in front of the sprinkler.

The Model G & F1 Vertical Sidewall Sprinklers may beinstalled in either the upright or the pendent position, andare intended for light hazard occupancy use.

The Model G & F1 Horizontal Sidewall Sprinklers areintended for light hazard occupancies and in someapplicat ions may be used in ordinary hazardoccupancies.See Technical Bulletins 112 and 117.
