VCAMM Ltd is the Victorian Centre for Advanced Materials ManufacturingVCAMM was formed in 2002 with an initial $5M Science, Technology and Infrastructure (STI) grant to:

Deakin UniversityMonash UniversityCSIRO

A second round of $5M from STI funding was secured 2005 which introduced

Swinburne University of Technology and,LaTrobe University to the consortium

VCAMM is headquartered in Melbourne with a regional node in Geelong (Deakin GTP )

VCAMM received funding from DIIRD’s Agenda for New Manufacturing budget for 4 years to underwrite its AMCRC engagement.

Funding is to support SME projects; and

to provide directly related project management and admin staff.

Funding is divided into guaranteed and discretionary amounts. (~$500k & $700k for this F.Y.)VCAMM’s seven year involvement in the AMCRC is forecast to have generated over “$175M in increased economic activity by 2016” -Deloitte
