Teach Organizational Skills: When kids are organized, they can stay focused, teach your child how to make a to-do list to help prioritize and get things done. 6. Teach Study Skills: Teach your child how to break down overall tasks into smaller, manageable chunks so preparing for a test or doing homework assignments aren't overwhelming 7. Know the Disciplinary Policies: It's important for your child to know what's expected at school and that you'll support the school's consequences when expectations aren't met. 8. Get Involved: Volunteer at school, it's a great way for you to show they're interested in their kids' education 9. Take Attendance Seriously: It's important that kids arrive at school on time every day, because having to catch up with class work and homework can be stressful and interfere with learning. 10. escuela y la vida. Ofrecemos muchas

dentro de nuestra escuela y la comunidad. ¡Construimos líderes!

Semana De Las Escuelas Católicas

10 maneras que los padres pueden usar para poner a sus hijos en el sendero para ser estudiantes exitosos.

1. Asistir a las Conferencias Padres-Maestros: Las conferencias son una oportunidad para iniciar o continuar conversaciones con el maestro de su hijo (a) y discutir estrategias para ayudar a su hijo (a) a desempeñarse mejor en sus clases.

2. Visitar el Sitio Electrónico de la Escuela: En la Página electrónica de la escuela, usted puede encontrar información sobre: el calendario escolar, información de contacto personal, eventos como excursiones de clase, etc. (www.princeofpeaceschool.org)

3. Apoyo a las Expectativas de las Tareas: Estar disponible para interpretar las instrucciones de asignación, ofrecer orientación, contestar preguntas y revisar el trabajo realizado.

4. Enviar a su Hijo (a) a la Escuela Listos para Aprender: Los niños necesitan la cantidad correcta de sueño para estar alertas y listos para aprender. Es importante tener una rutina consistente para dormir, especialmente en las noches de escuela.

5. Enseñar Habilidades de Organización: Cuando los niños se organizan, pueden permanecer enfocados, enseñe a su hijo (a) cómo hacer una lista de las tareas para ayudar a priorizar y hacer las cosas.

6. Enseñar Técnicas de Estudio: Enseñe a su hijo (a) como distribuir tareas generales en porciones más pequeñas y manejables para prepararse para un examen o hacer tareas no abrumadoras.

7. Conocer las Políticas Disciplinarias: Es importante para su hijo (a) saber las consecuencias que él/ella puede esperar en la escuela y que usted apoyas las consecuencias de la escuela cuando no cumplen las expectativas.

8. Conseguir Involucrarse: Ser voluntarios en la escuela, es una gran manera para mo strar que están interesados en la educación de sus hijos.

9. Tomar la Asistencia Seriamente: Es importante que los niños llegan a la escuela a tiempo todos los días, porque el tener que ponerse al corriente con el trabajo de clase y las tareas puede ser estresante e interferir con el aprendizaje.

10. Hablar Acerca de la Escuela: Dedicar un tiempo para hablar con su hijo (a) todos los días, así que él o ella sabe que lo que ocurre en la escuela es importante para usted. Cuando los niños saben que los padres están interesados en su vida académica, también, toman la escuela seriamente.
