You can know everything there is to know about nutrition and exercise, but if you haven’t got the motivation to get up off your backside and put into practice everything you know then you’re not going to get very far with your fat loss goals. As a personal trainer, one of my main jobs is to motivate. They pay me to help them lose weight, by designing their nutrition and exercise programs, but most of all they pay me to motivate them. Everyone at some point will suffer from a lack of motivation when losing weight and it is my job as a personal trainer to motivate every single one of my clients so that they can reach their fat loss goals as fast as possible. So before I talk to you about any nutrition or exercising, I am going to give you ten different ways to keep yourself motivated when undertaking a fat loss program. So without further ado, here are your “10 Tips Get Motivated To Lose fat”. 1. Think wellness not fat loss This one may sound stupid. Yeah you want to lose weight, and burn that unwanted fat from your body but if you start thinking that you just need to lose weight there’s a good chance you’ll be sat here same time next year saying the same old “I need to lose weight” and not actually taking any action what - so-ever. If however you start thinking that you need to start exercising and changing your diet to improve your daily life, your chances of sticking to healthy lifestyle will increase ten-fold. Once you change your diet and start exercising regularly the fat loss will follow. 2. Get Support Some people work better when they have someone there to help. Having someone you trust beside you gives you a massive confidence boost. 3. Start small Some people set there goals to big and therefore never actually achieve anything. As you will learn here at Fat Loss Classroom, I am a true believer in starting with 3 x 45 minute workouts a week but if that sounds a little too much to start with then why not start walking for 20/30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. Get into a routine of going for a walk a few times a week and then work your way up from there. Exercising releases a hormone in the body that gives us the “feel good” feeling, so once you start you won’t want to stop! 4. Think about the benefits We kind of touched on this one, but instead of thinking about the difficulties start thinking about the benefits. Doing this will give your brain positive messages, therefore forgetting about the so- called negatives.

10 Tips to Get Motivated To Lose Fat

Getting motivated to lose fat is for some people (if not most) is the hardest aspect to overcome. You can know everything

there is to know about nutrition and exercise, but if you haven’t got the motivation to get up off your backside and put into

practice everything you know then you’re not going to get very far with your fat loss goals.

As a personal trainer, one of my main jobs is to motivate. They pay me to help them lose weight, by designing their nutrition

and exercise programs, but most of all they pay me to motivate them. Everyone at some point will suffer from a lack of

motivation when losing weight and it is my job as a personal trainer to motivate every single one of my clients so that they

can reach their fat loss goals as fast as possible.

So before I talk to you about any nutrition or exercising, I am going to give you ten different ways to keep

yourself motivated when undertaking a fat loss program. So without further ado, here are your “10 Tips Get Motivated To

Lose fat”.

1. Think wellness not fat loss – This one may sound stupid. Yeah you want to lose weight, and burn that

unwanted fat from your body but if you start thinking that you just need to lose weight there’s a good chance you’ll

be sat here same time next year saying the same old “I need to lose weight” and not actually taking any action what-

so-ever. If however you start thinking that you need to start exercising and changing your diet to improve your

daily life, your chances of sticking to healthy lifestyle will increase ten-fold. Once you change your diet and start

exercising regularly the fat loss will follow.

2. Get Support – Some people work better when they have someone there to help. Having someone you trust beside

you gives you a massive confidence boost.

3. Start small – Some people set there goals to big and therefore never actually achieve anything. As you will learn

here at Fat Loss Classroom, I am a true believer in starting with 3 x 45 minute workouts a week but if that sounds a

little too much to start with then why not start walking for 20/30 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. Get into a routine of

going for a walk a few times a week and then work your way up from there. Exercising releases a hormone in the

body that gives us the “feel good” feeling, so once you start you won’t want to stop!

4. Think about the benefits – We kind of touched on this one, but instead of thinking about the difficulties start

thinking about the benefits. Doing this will give your brain positive messages, therefore forgetting about the so-

called negatives.

5. Find a workout partner – Slightly different to number 2. Your spouse might be there to give you support but

your best friend will be right next pushing you to your maximum! I highly recommend you have a workout partner;

you’ll bounce of each other and help one another out. My workout partner is my brother, and we never let

eachother slack off!

6. Think about how you will feel after your workout – I always feel amazing after a workout. Yeah I feel like

laying on the floor with exhaustion, but my days do I feel good!!

7. Imagine how you want to look – Imagine the new, sexier, slimmer you. Now let that image motivate you!

Want to wear smaller clothes? It’s time to work out!

8. Read success stories – Success stories do wonders for our motivation.

9. Waiting for the “You Look Gooooood Comments!” – Everyone loves a complement! Imagine 6 months

down the line from reading this post and someone makes a comment on how good you look…..now that’s

motivation!

10. Live longer – This one may seem extreme but it’s true. People who look after their bodies and exercise regularly

tend to live longer. I don’t know about you, but I want to watch my children and my children’s children grow up.

So there you have it, 10 tips to get motivated to start losing fat. You may have other motivation techniques that you like to

use, and if you do then please share them in the comment section below!

Remember once you start exercising it’s very hard to stop! There are many addictions that we are constantly told that are bad

for us, so how would it feel to have an addiction that is actually good for us! Actions speak louder than words, so stop talking

about losing fatand take action.
