Rapper who killed producer for 'disrespect' gets 30 years... A rapper outraged because his half-brother was "disrespected" in a song lyric was jailed with a confederate for 30 years yesterday after a revenge attack ended in murder. Carl Dobson, 23 - also known as the grime rap star Crazy tich - killed music producer Richard Holmes last November as a row over the lyrics escalated disastrously, the Old Bailey heard. A handgun was held to the victim's head before he was shot in the back as he tried to escape. The attackers also shot him in the leg with a Mach 10 machine gun. Operation Trident bosses believe young people are more receptive to messages given by their chosen role models rather than traditional figures of authority. "With so much of popular culture glamourising guns we wanted to subvert the messages associated with it. In doing so we hope to connect with young people through a medium they are open to and understand," said Commander Cressida Dick, the head of Operation Trident.Police say that over the past four years increasing numbers of teenagers had become victims of gun crime. In the first 10 months of this year, 69 teenagers (31% of all Trident cases) had been victims of gun crime. So far this year, six teenagers have been charged with murder in killings linked to Trident  Source – The Guardian Newspaper, November 2006

Conservative councillor, Ellenor Bland in email to colleagues. Reported in the Daily Mirror, November 7th 2006

“We have hobby, it's called breeding. Welfare pay for baby feeding. Kids need dentist? Wife need pills? We get free! We got no bills! Britain crazy! They pay all year. To keep welfare running here. We think UK darn good place. Too darn good for the white man race! If they no like us, they can scram. Got lots of room in Pakistan.”
