• I spent 2 hours cleaning his car–Wash–Wash–Vacuum–Windows–Organization

SERVICE

• Throughout the week last week I was a constant stream of praise–Thank you for doing ________–This dinner you cooked was

delicious!–You are so good at that!–Way to go!–Etc.

WORDS OF AFFIRMATION

• Last week we went to Tokyo, Japan. –24+ hours together on the plane–Exploring the city together–Trying new foods together–Being together non stop for 6 days

QUALITY TIME

• Due to playing basketball, my husband tweaked his back, so I offered 4 30 minute massages –Helped his pain–Let him know I was there for him–The physical touch was reassuring

and soothing

TOUCH

• Though he doesn’t know it yet…– Over the past few months I have collected and

saved my piano lesson money in order to buy him a game console he says is “too expensive” but that I know he is dying to have

GIFTS

• Throughout this project I focused on how my intentions bettered the communication I have with my husband. – Non verbal: touch, gifts, service– Verbal: quality time and words of affirmation

• I have concluded that my husband responds better to non verbal communication from me, which is what I assume most men respond better to.

• This project allowed me to better understand him and how I can better communicate my feelings towards him.

• This project took 10 hours, not including the plane ride to Tokyo.
