This is story of a creative mother.

Her name was: Marion O’Brian Donovan

.

It was 1946.She had to change the baby’s cloth diaper again and again.

It also wetted the bed sheets.

Unlike other mothers who accepted this situation…

She wanted a solution!

She tore the shower curtain hanging in her bathroom.

Then she cut out a section of it and sewed it to create a tight diaper cover.

It would prevent leaks!

Later it was improved by using nylon parachute cloth.

This was creation of re-usable diaper.

1951.Donovan received 4 patents for her invention.

She sold these patents to Keko Corporation for$ 1 million!
