Dale passed awayon Friday, December13, 2013 at BronsonHospital. He wassurrounded by hisfamily. Dale was born May 4,1935 in Toledo, OH, to Don

and Egie (Butler) Hall. They moved toMichigan in 1936. He was discharged fromthe Army in 1960 after serving two years.Dale worked at Rockwell International untilthey closed and then retired from PlainwellPaper Mill in July 2000. Dale loved to bowland golf and spend time with his family. OnDecember 31, 1960, he was united in mar-riage to Dolores Winebrenner, who sur-vives. Also surviving are his children, DavidHall of Plainwell, Debbie (Bob) Canfield, ofMartin, Dana Hall, of Martin and Diana Hall(Paul) of Plainwell; grandchildren, DustinQuick, Nicole Hanosh (Josh), Kevin andFawn Hanosh, Maya Scott, Kristin Hall-Canfield, Shane and Kayla Frederick;great-grandchildren, Hunter Minor, Emmettand Harlow Hanosh. Dale and Doloreswould have been married 53 years on De-cember 31st. Clarence E. SWEETAGE 91 – OTSEGO, MI

Clarence passed away Mon-day, December 30, 2013 atthe Dussia House in Otsego.He was born April 29,1922 inKewadin, MI, to Joel andJennie (Osborne) Sweet.

During WWII Clarence served his countryin the U.S. Army and had earned a bronzestar for his service. Upon his discharge heworked at Mac Sim Bar, Span Brass andhad spent more than 30 years at AlliedPaper in Kalamazoo until his retirement in1985. In his leisure time he enjoyed bicy-cling, riding 15 miles daily until he was 80,camping in the UP and he had a cabin upnorth where he enjoyed deer hunting . OnOctober 10,1944 he married Alice L. Prolotogether they enjoyed spending winters inFlorida until her passing in 2003. Also pre-ceding him in death are his parents andtwo daughters-in-law Gail and Lucy. Sur-viving are his children, Edwin Sweet of Al-legan, Wanita (Rich) Johnson ofKalamazoo, Chuck (Kristy) Sweet of Gob-les, Alvin (Nada) Sweet and Norman Sweetboth of Otsego; 14 grandchildren; manygreat and great-great grandchildren, andseveral nieces and nephews.
