On peut réaliser des filtres BP d’ordre 2 avec le circuit suivant et cascader un 2ième étage pour obtenir un filtre BP d’ordre 4.

Pour réaliser le filtre, on pose une valeur de C et connaissant fm, Q et Am, on calcule ensuite les valeurs de R1, R2 et R3 dans l’ordre suivant :
Le filtre passe bande (BP) MFB permet d’ajuster séparément Q, Am et fm. R3 peut ajuster fm sans affecter B ou Am. Pour de faibles valeurs de Q, le filtre peut fonctionner sans R3, par contre Q dépendra alors de Am selon :

Concevoir un filtre BP d’ordre 2 (topologie MFB) qui aura une fréquence de coupure fm = 1kHz, Q = 10 et un gain Am = -2. On choisit un condensateur C = 100 nF et on obtient :

On peut rencontrer ces spécifications en cascadant 2 étages d’ordre 2 pour obtenir un filtre BP d’ordre 4. On peut alors ajuster Q en variant G mais sans affecter fm. Il faut faire attention lorsque G s’approche de 3, le circuit peut osciller.

On obtient alors un filtre passe bande d’ordre 4Les facteurs α et 1/α servent à exprimer la fréquence moyenne de chaque étage, fm1 et fm2 par rapport à la
fréquence moyenne fm du passe bande.
Pour obtenir α, il faut résoudre l’équation ci-haut avec une calculatrice ou l’obtenir avec une table.
