Summary: Download Material Master from ERPto CRM
1) Materials from an ERP system can be downloaded to CRM.
2) CRM product master data is created from ERP material master data.
3) If material master data in the connected ERP system is changed, the corresponding product master data in CRM is also changed.
4) CRM product master data downloaded from the connected ERP system can be changed in CRM. These changes are not uploaded back to the ERP system.
5) CRM product master data can be enhanced with CRM-specific data, for example, additional categories can be assigned.

Summary: Upload Product Master from CRM to ERP
1) Product master data created in CRM can be uploaded to the connected ERP system as material master data.
2) ERP material master data can be changed, but the changed data is not replicated to the CRM product master data.
3) ERP material master data can be enhanced with ERP-specific data, such as plant data and accounting data.
4) If CRM product master data is changed, the product is uploaded again and ERP material master data is changed, based on the current CRM product master data.
5) If CRM product master data is changed, earlier changes made in the ERP material master data are lost. ERP-specific data, such as plant or accounting data is not affected.
