Sessa MarineHistory

Sessa marine story is one of a family that, generation after generation, carries

a dream of excellence for its trademark and products. Born in 1958, it started

with the molding of plastics but very quickly progressed to the first applica-

tions of glass re-enforced polyester resins (VTr). In 1972 Sessa marine started

the production of small boats in polyester resin. It is the first company in Italy

to install Piaggio jet on pleasure boats. 1988 is the year of the acquisition of

Fyberstamp, which specialized in the production of big hulls for major ship-

yard players, Sessa Marine declared its ambitions: to progressively enter the

market of more prestigious boats.

Starting from in the nineties, thanks to the third generation entering in the

company, Sessa marine began a development that after about 50 years has

positioned the company within the protagonist of its reference sector.

The head office and it’s plant were established in the 80’s, the shipyard in Civi-

date al Piano (BG), not far from Iseo Lake, is located in the main production

plant of the company. In 2007 the finishing of Cividate al Piano, totaled an area

of 37.000 squared meter, with a covered area of 16.000 square meters.

The production plant and workers, allowed the company to have a shipyard ready to produce yachts of bigger dimensions in all their production steps. a

second production plant is located in roccelletta di Borgia (CZ).

a production area of 2.000 square meters is dedicated to the Key Largo line, and a new plant of 2.500 square meters , inaugurated in September 2007, is

concentrated in the production of the ocean Line and the development of the Fly bridge models.

In 2005 the company established its commercial, administration, and marketing offices in the new business area of Vimercate. Since October 2006 Sessa

marine is directly present in the US, where the new branch in dania Beach, Florida, represents the starting point for the growth in the north & South

america market.

This boat will be introduced on the american market in may 2008.

Our company wants to astonish the most elegant eyes by offering a unit of higher size: an image.

our designer, mario ranieri, a well experienced boat expert, made the production of the rC 43 possible. his passion, which

is growing more and more thanks to the various successes achieved so far in 35

years of experience in the nautical field, is well known. People know his hulls and

his deep knowledge of materials. This time he created a boat with two separate

cabins (each one with toilet and shower box) and a spacious cabin.

Included are six berths in total and the ability to hold a capacity of 14 people. It can

be found in the aggressive and innovative hull. This is the experience which gives

birth to a highly reliable boat.

Ilaria Lopez, our interior designer, has given the interior a touch of comfort and

elegance. her intention was to offer an innovative reply to the needs of functionality of living space, without

forgetting aesthetic experiments, where quality of product and quality of project come together in a new living offer.

It is a challenge to bring the living standards of the bigger yachts to a smaller unit; a challenge which produces an innovative and trendy style which in-

vites you to navigate with the smooth lines giving life to comfortable spaces, finished for functionality and board comfort. Warm and cosy colors render

the hull a project to live and breath the sea by.

nothing happens just by chance; this is the magic formula of the rC 43.

A unique design, hard to copy. A refined technology. A supreme comfort in the most evolved expression of Express Cruisers. That’s the real revolution of

the project, being custom made. It offers the possibility to customize the single details allowing for a perfect cooperation of professionalism, supplied by our

architect, and the originality which meets the taste of those who have decided to give a personal touch to their own boat, while remaining competitive.

We do think there is no style better than another, but we do think that principles such as quality, safety, and professionalism are fundamental.

Our goal? To give birth to an absolutely one of a kind, innovative model by studying deeply the production processes and innovations of the product.

The result? a unique boat.

rancraft Yachts is proud to introduce you its new model, the rancraft Cruiser Line

43, conceived for those who have decided to make luxury a lifestyle.

9

Very soon they found out that they were of the same opinions on most issues and

became close friends.

The rYLard factory in Birmingham which was established in the beginning of

1800, had at that time a very high reputation, especially for their yacht paints.

mr. Basso and mr. rylard immediately decided to set up a new rYLard paint fac-

tory in Italy. In Genoa, march 1926, the new company BraVa was born (BraVa,

standing for Basso rylard anonima Vernici

Affini).

The original formulas, together with the

technical “know how”, and also labels with

their prestigious image in Victorian age

yacht style, were handed over to BraVa.

Very soon the BraVa company became

one of the leading Italian paint manufac-

turers specialized in yacht paints and var-

nishes.

BraVa varnishes, enamel and antifoulings

defended the most famous Italian ships as

“Giulio Cesare”, “augustus”, “Saturnia”

and “Vulcania”.

BraVa now, even when expanded in some

other corners of the paint world, has in

yacht paints the company’s main market, a

market in which the quality of the products has an absolute importance.

BRAVA is in the forefront and has a leading position in several fields.

The old prestigious labels, that have been preserved, today are still used on classical

clear varnish rYLard.

rYLard is a pure tung linseed oil based clear varnish, extremely elastic and pen-

etrating, for superior resistance and glossiness.

RYLARD, a pure “Made in Italy” product, protects the finest classic wooden boats

all over the world.

Brava-Rylard The BraVa history begins in the years just after the World War I mr. rylard, the owner of a paint factory in Birmingham,

england, made acquaintance with mr. Basso from Italy.

Pin-Craftonce upon a time there was a little oars factory…This could be the beginning of the

Pin-Craft story.

4

The firm has ancient origins but it was only in the 1950s that

it got into the nautical field when nautical science was down

and the shipyards needed support firms that were able to

build accessories and high quality products.

So in those years, Pin-Craft began to produce several articles

like gangways, bath ladders, royal ladders, oars, tables and

chairs, offering them to the market with great success.

Then in the 1970s, the two sons succeeded, changing the firm completely, making it modern and competitive, and bringing the best technologies to their prod-

ucts. Today, Pin-Craft is on the market with its products that have become, over the years, synonymous with guarantee and quality. Pin-Craft works daily to

satisfy its customers’ requests, realizing customized solutions thanks to the highly specialized and competent activity of its technical office.

In the last few years, the firm has been able to renew itself, adapting to the changes of the nautical industry without

having to renounce the loving care for the details that they have held true to its longstanding tradition.

The production now is made up of hydraulic gangways, ladders and royal ladders, hydraulic davits and automa-

tions for ports, trolleys for tender hauling and launch hydraulic tender-lift, gangways and stair carpets in wood. all

the articles are built with the best materials, such as stainless steel and teak for the wood components.

In this last period the company has been proud to introduce on the market its davit-robot “anaconda”, adopting an

innovative electronic control system that allows the ability to program and store

the optimum path for the hauling and launch of more tenders. This reduces at least

the user’s operations. Combined, with its compactness and its remarkable exten-

sion of movements, it can be considered a revolutionary component for automa-

tion on board that is essential for every boat.

All the products are strictly controlled and tested, and the company has a certified

quality system. Indeed its reliability has allowed Pin-Craft to be one of the most

known names in the nautical accessories field.

From its reputation, Pin-Craft boasts a large amount of collaborations with the

biggest and most famous Italian and foreign shipyards all over the world.

Cantieri Navalidel Mediterraneo

The Cnm production is going on. Salvatore d’agostino, roman businessman, began his activity with the shipyard for his sea and

fast cruising passion. after a great beginning with the production of Continental 80, now is the construction of it’s little brother,

the Continental 50. Looking at the rendering and the images we can see dynamic lines and a sportive elegance; wide and long

fore deck delimited by a crystal windscreen with the right size to retract from the wind without tainting the aerodynamic line. The

Continental 50 is an open cruiser with useful lateral corridors up to the console which assure a comfortable access to the bow as a

walk-around.

The topsides are characterised by an important innovation: near the quarter, two hydrauli-

cally opened double-sided platforms can go down to the water level creating comfortable

spaces which increase the area of the cockpit and make it worthy of a 60 foot yacht.

The main deck on aft is characterised by a wide area organized in a rational way with

ergonomic details. The cockpit layout is modern with a minimalist design.

The access on board is made easier for the platform which leads to the side corridors

through which you can access the living area in plain air. near the transom on the central

area there is the sunbathing area comfortable for four persons, where it is possible to find

accessories, safety equipment and fishing equipment.

The external dining area is wide and comfortable with two sofas and a table for six-eight

persons. Going to the bow, inside one element, there is the modern galley, the pilot and

co-pilot seats and the access to the crew cabin.

For the lowerdeck access there is a central entrance on a glass surface on a side of the technological dashboard.

With the innovative “modular System”, an exclusive idea of the shipyard, the lower deck can be changed following the owner’s

requirements. The internal configuration can be modified in a few hours without the shipyard’s technical assistance from one to

three cabins and vice-versa.

For the engines there are different options; It is possible to install man 2 x 800 hp with propulsion arneson drive, or CaT 2 x

1000 hp with Arneson Drive. The cruising speed will be of 40 knots with total comfort for the floating floor system, already tested

on the Continental 80.
