Symptom

Following the implementation of the kernel patches specified in SAP Note 1930029, the system is no longer able to generate spool requests once the upper limit value of the number range object SPO_NUM has been reached.

Reason and Prerequisites

There is a kernel error.

Solution

The kernel specified in SAP Note 1954264 corrects the problem.

As a workaround, call transaction SNRO in client 000 and set the upper limit of the number range object SPO_NUM to the maximum value, which is 2 billion.
