One Hour Innovation Activity

What do you need? 1× plastic recycled

bottle 4 × bottle tops 1 × straw 1 × barbecue stick Glue or tape Pin

This activity introduces innovation to primary students in a simple way and allows them to create their own movable cars. It also summarizes the following information:

Push is a force. When you push something you move it away from you.

Objects have different speeds.

An object at rest will remain at rest unless something exerts a force on it.

Recommended Grades: KG2, Grade1, Grade2

Procedure

Step 1:

Use a pin to punch four bottle tops in the center.

Step 2:

Attach the bottle tops to a barbecue stick, you can use glue or tape.

Step 3: Glue the straws on the bottle , put the barbecue stick in holding the bottle top as wheels.

Step 4: Connect the remaining lids as wheels.
