Ask students to think about what the word, ambition, means?
“How can they show how ambitious they are? I’ve never met a youngster who said he couldn’t progress because he was one of the rural poor. We stifle children’s ambition with our labels. They don’t smother it themselves…” Sir Michael Wilshaw OFSTED Chief
Ask students to explain what the above statement could mean and what part they can play in their own success.
