The first annual Kinsale Lions Walking Festival offers walks for all ages and abilities in and around historical Kinsale. Created by Kinsale Lions Club to provide a festival for all the community whilst raising funds for Marymount Hospice who are our principal

Calling all Mahoneys & Squibs

Sometime in the 1920s James Mahoney emigrated from Kinsale to Liverpool, England, with his wife Mary (Squib).

Mary was James’ second wife, his first being Jeni. James had 13 children altogether, one being my partner’s father, James Mahoney Junior. It is not known if James Junior was born in Kinsale or Liverpool.

From 26th to 30th October myself and my partner, Breda Mahoney, will be staying in Kinsale. It is a surprise for her birthday and it would be fantastic to meet up with many long-lost relations or just get some information about them.
