Our Journey BeginsA 40 y.o. female patient arrives in your emergency
department after falling at home. She was self transferring OOB to her wheel chair by pivoting when the fall occurred. She c/o pain & swelling right shoulder & knee.
• PMHX-MS (numbness right UE & LE, blurred vision, bowel & bladder dysfunction, lack of coordination
• Social history: unemployed• Husband & family perform stand pivot transfer as
needed OOB, to commode and shower chair. Patient occasionally ambulates with rolling walker.

Questions-the audience will be responsible to apply their current knowledge and or their newly obtained knowledge from the conference to take the patient safely from Admission to Discharge.
