Sylvan Learningdemos planned
Sylvan Learning has come out with a new digital supplemental learning sys-tem—called SylvanSync that conforms to the way today’s children acquire and use information.
A free demonstration of Sylvan pro-grams will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, April 29, and 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 4, at the Eden Prairie Com-munity Center.
SylvanSync combines the power of technology with the passion and expertise of our Sylvan certified instructors. In-stead of using textbooks and workbooks, instructors teach each child’s personal lesson using an iPad, allowing students to engage in hands-on learning with a familiar and engaging technology.
The system also provides parents and students with their own personal mySyl-
van website. This website allows parents to track their child’s individual progress and helps expand each student’s instruc-tional experience and overall academic success with supplemental learning ac-tivities and resources. The SylvanSync system enables Sylvan centers to work with more students in suitable locations throughout their communities. Contact Sylvan of Edina with any questions at (952) 831-5351.
