The overall goal of the Global Allianceto Eliminate Lead in Paints is to:

a) Prevent children’s exposure to lead via paints containing lead.

b) Minimise occupational exposures to lead in paint.

A further objective is to:

Provide guidance and promote assistance to identify and reduce potential lead exposure in and around housing, such as household dust, and also in childcare facilities and schools in which paint that contains lead is present.
