A network is a group of computers that are linked together. Each computer is connected (via a switch) to a server.
What is your school computer network made up of?
What is a network?
Networks are beneficial because software, storage, peripherals and processing power can be shared.
The server is a very powerful computer that provides programs and storage space for other computers.
When you use programs and save files on school computers, you are actually saving them on the server.
