1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE

A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum 5 year experience manufacturing similar products.

B. Installer Qualifications: Minimum 2 year experience installing similar products.

C. Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship.1. Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship is approved by Architect.2. Refinish mock-up as required to produce acceptable work.

1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A. Deliver and store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging bearing the brand name and manufacturer's identification until ready for installation.

B. Handling: Handle materials to avoid damage.

1.6 PROJECT CONDITIONS

A. Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's recommended limits.

1.7 SEQUENCING

A. Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.

1.8 WARRANTY

A. Provide manufacturer's standard limited warranty.

PART 2 PRODUCTS

2.1 MANUFACTURERS

2.2 METAL LOCKERS

A. Metal Lockers: Conqueror Series as supplied by Longhorn Lockers.1. Style: Open Faced.2. Material: Steel parts shall consist of Galvanealed steel body and stainless hardware.

a. Finish: Metal shall be cleaned and prepared using a phosphate for finish adhesion. Metal components shall receive an electrostatically charged finish for maximum adhesion and wrap. Powder Coat finish.

3. Material: Platinum option - Stainless steel metal components for body.4. Construction: The lockers shall be fully welded to form a one piece rigid structure.

Welds are cleaned and buffed before finish is applied.5. Uni-Frame: The locker sides, shelves and top have a 16ga combined 1 inch (25 mm)

dual turn in channel type frame system to give the unit strength and stability.6. Body: Shelves shall be constructed of 16ga galvanealed steel. Hat shelf shall have a

built in coat hanger lip consisting of a 1 inch x1 inch (25 mm x 25 mm) channel valley for the coat hanger to hang from. Sides shall angle back from the top to the seat hinge beam for openness.

7. Footlocker: Shall consist of 16ga Galvanealed steel. Size shall be locker depth and width and shall be no more than 16 inches (406 mm) high. Foot locker shall be ventilated thru means of perforations unless custom logo or lettering is punched in face. Adequate ventilation shall be achieved.

8. Foot Locker Seat Lid: Shall consist of 16ga galvanealed steel and to be formed on all 4 sides with a 1 inch (25 mm) double turn back type frame for strength and stability. A 16ga stiffening channel shall be securely welded to the underside of the seat for strength and rigidity. Seat lid shall be attached to footlocker using a 16ga stainless steel piano type hinge. An 11ga strike lug shall protrude through top lip of footlocker face and into the stainless steel recessed handle.

9. Equipment: Shall consist of 2 AIM Custom HD 11ga stainless back wall hooks, 2 HD 11ga Stainless side wall hooks, built in integrated shelf face coat rod channel.

10. Security Box: Shall consist of a 16ga, Galvanealed steel 12 inches x 12 inches (305 mm by 305 mm) lockable compartment for valuables. Door shall be securely attached to the lock box with a 16ga piano type hinge. A continuous strike shall be achieved by the door face over lapping the side of the box and the stainless strike protruding through the door face inside the stainless handle for use with padlock.

11. Lock: Combination padlocks (optional matching set for foot locker and locker box) - Zephyr Model 1925 Master keyed.

19. Seat Lid: Executive Pro - premium anti-microbial vinyl covered 2 inches (51 mm) hi-density foam pad attached to steel seat lid.

20. Seat Lid: Poly Pro - standard vinyl covered 2 inches (51 mm) hi-density foam pad attached to steel seat lid.

21. Full Phenolic Signature Back: The full back is covered with 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick wood grain solid Phenolic panel. Laser and routed insignia as indicated or required.

22. Custom Hooks: Provide 2- HD custom stainless laser etched logo hooks (Signature Hook Option).

23. Full Battle Gear: Provide shoulder pad and helmet gear rack. Shall consist of 1.5 inches (38 mm) round 304 stainless steel tubing fully welded to form rack for drying shoulder pads and helmet in the upright position. Designed for use on top of the locker. Gear rack shall thru-bolt using 6-1/4 inches (159 mm) bolts and secured with vinyl lined acorn beauty nuts with chrome finish.

24. Waterfall Gear Rack: Shall consist of 1.5 inches (38 mm) round stainless steel tubing fully welded to form rack for drying shoulder pads in the upright position. Designed for use on top of the locker. Gear rack shall thru-bolt using 6-1/4 inches (159 mm) bolts and secured with acorn beauty nuts with chrome finish.

25. V-Shaped Shoulder Pad Holder: Shall consist of 16ga galvanealed steel V-shaped. This holder is designed to hold pads in an upside down drying position. Pad holder shall be finished in like manner as locker.

26. Cleat Rack: Cleat rack shall consist of 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) flat iron strap formed for hanging shoes for drying. Rack shall be bolted to the back of footlocker compartment through drilled holes.

27. Electrical: Provide 110v electrical outlet with dual USB charging ports placed in back of lock box. Electrical components shall be inside locker and behind stainless cover panels. Electrical whip to j-box in upper name plate area for electrical hookups by locker manufacturer. Electrical terminations to j-box by electrical trade.

28. Air Raider: Shall include air assisted ventilation system powered by 110 V power source. This system shall use a low voltage fan to pull the fresh air in the foot locker

face, across the wet gear, through perforations in false back, up a channel and back out into the room. This circulation shall help prevent mildew, smell and staph infection.a. This system shall be hooked up to the Battle Gear Rack for drying of the pads

and helmet.29. Air Raider Return Air Plenum: Ventilation system powered by facility's

return/exhausted air source. System shall use the facility's return or exhausted air source to pull the room air in through the locker, across the wet gear, through perforations in false back, up a channel and into the air handling system or out of the exhaust system. This circulation shall help prevent mildew, smell and staph infection.

30. Slide In Name Plate Holder: 1.5 inches x 8 inches (38 mm x 203 mm) bright aluminum slide in name plate holder. Attached to hat shelf face.

31. Custom Name Plate: 1.5 inches x 8 inches (38 mm x 203 mm) custom laser etched name plate in stainless or color acrylic. Requires slide in name plate holder.

2.3 WOOD ATHLETIC LOCKERS

A. Wood Lockers: Fusion Defender Series as supplied by Longhorn Lockers.1. Material: Steel parts shall consist of mild Galvannealed steel. Metal shall be cleaned

and prepared using a phosphate for finish adhesion. Metal components shall receive an electrostatically charged finish for maximum adhesion and wrap.

2. Material: 16ga #3 finish Stainless Steel metal components.3. Wood Veneer materials shall be grade ' A' Plain Sliced Veneer. Species as indicated

or scheduled. Wood finish shall be any AIM standard finish match with 1 coat vinyl sealer and 2 coats clear semi-gloss hi-build Lacquer.

4. Construction: Heavy Duty Bolt-Through Construction- lockers shall be assembled using Stainless 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8" nuts and bolts.

5. Attached hardware shall be aluminum, stainless or zinc coated steel for corrosion resistance. No attachment hardware shall be smaller than 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) diameter in thickness. No material shall be screwed together. Any attachment shall be through bolted to main locker body/frame.

6. Body: Shall consist of 3/4 inch (19 mm) thick medium density fiber board with a wood veneer face. Wood tape shall be applied to visible edges for edge finish and protection.

7. Body: Shall consist of 3/4 inch (19 mm) thick veneer plywood with MDF cross bands. Wood tape (thermally fused) shall be applied to all visible edges for edge finish and protection.

8. Shelves: Shelf shall be constructed of 16ga Stainless Steel. Lower shelf shall have a built in coat hanger lip consisting of a 1 inch x 1 inch (25 mm x 25 mm) channel valley for the coat hanger to hang from. CNC formed and flanged.

9. Footlocker: Shall consist of 16ga Galvannealed steel. Size shall be locker depth and width and shall be no more than 16 inches (406 mm) high. Foot locker shall be ventilated thru means of perforations unless custom logo or lettering is punched in face. Adequate ventilation shall be achieved.

10. Footlocker: Shall consist of 16ga stainless steel interior box (back, front, sides and bottom). This is a formed and flanged unit that spot welded into a rigid 1 piece unit. There is no exposed raw edges on this stainless box. Top bends shall not be less than 1 inch (25 mm) wide giving the unit a full stiff box construction. Size shall be locker depth and width and shall be no more than 14 inches (356 mm) high. Foot

Locker face shall be wood with Perforated Stainless insert. Foot locker shall be ventilated thru means of perforations on Stainless portion of face or bottom concealed. Adequate ventilation shall be achieved. Custom laser cut galvanized 14ga steel logo powder coated in logo colors attached to stainless foot locker face using welded stand offs and stainless bolts through the back of the footlocker face.

11. Security Box: Shall consist of a 16ga, Galvannealed steel 12 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches (305 mm x 305 mm x 305 mm) lockable compartment for valuables. Door shall be securely attached to the lock box frame with a 16ga piano type hinge. A continuous strike shall be achieved by the door frame. Padlock hasp shall protrude through the door face. A stainless steel handle shall be attached to face. Door shall be capable of accepting padlocks or built-in combo locks or digital keypad locks.


13. Lock: Built-in combination lock - Zephyr Model 1954 Master Keyed.14. Lock: DigiLock APS with Pull - Assigned or shared use.15. Lock: Stealth Lock.16. Lock: As scheduled for custom fitting.17. Seat Lid: Armor - high pressure applied polyurethane liner applied to steel seat top

shoes for drying. Rack shall be inserted into back of footlocker compartment through drilled holes and welded to footlocker. Also available inside the footlocker in lieu of above the seat.

23. Shoulder Pad and Helmet Rack. Battle Gear Option: Shall consist of 1.5 inches (38 mm) round stainless steel tubing fully welded to form rack for drying shoulder pads and helmet in the upright position. Designed for use on top of the locker. Gear rack shall thru-bolt using 6-1/4 inches (159 mm) bolts and secured with vinyl lined acorn beauty nuts with chrome finish. This option can also be made without the helmet holding mechanism.

fused Birch edge tape.4. Wood Finish: Wood veneer shall have sand sealer applied with 1 coat of hi-build

Lacquer. Clear Natural finish.5. Wood Finish: Wood veneer shall have sand sealer applied with 1 coat of hi-build

Lacquer. Stain finishes as selected as selected form AIM standard colors.6. Wood Finish: Wood veneer shall have sand sealer applied with 1 coat of hi-build

Lacquer. Custom stain match.7. Construction: Heavy Duty Thru Bolt Construction - lockers shall be assembled using

zinc coated nuts and bolts. Attached hardware shall be stainless or zinc coated steel for corrosion resistance. No attachment hardware shall be smaller than 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) diameter in thickness. Attachment shall be through bolted to main locker body/frame. Glue and Dowel Construction is not acceptable and shall not be allowed.

8. Body: Shall consist of 3/4 inch (19 mm) thick plywood with a wood veneer face. 3mm silver birch edge banding or wood tape shall be applied to all visible edges for maximum protection.

9. Shelf: Shelf shall be constructed of 16ga Galvanealed steel. Lower shelf shall have a built in coat hanger lip consisting of a 1 inch x 1 inch (25 mm x 25 mm) channel valley for the coat hanger to hang from.

3.1 EXAMINATION
