System Features:System Features:

Fully Distributed Control System

Each module has its own MP (Main Processor), and perform different functions. For instance, CM is responsible for internal communications between modules and exchange of voice channels. PSM/RSM performs the basic call processing functions. CSM is responsible for providing signaling links. This distributed control architecture facilitates linear expansion of both capacity and functions. If the customer needs larger capacity, what we need to do is to add PSMs/RSMs. If the customer needs new functions, all we need to do is to add different functional modules, like ISM, INM, GSM, etc.

System Features:System Features:

High Reliability Since the system has modularized

architecture, in case one module breaks down, it will affect only the subscribers in the module, the whole system will remain intact.

The key components of the modules of ZXJ10, such as NET, CKG, TONE, and MP all work in active/standby or load-sharing mode.

Message path is separated from speech path.

System Features:System Features:

Unified inter-module interface and unit interfaces. This facilitates the adding of new service modules and new functional units.

Wide range of interfaces to different systems (like crossbar systems, and even step-by-step systems)

Rich functions, such as ISDN, CENTREX, CID, IN, etc.

BITS (Building Integrated Timing System)BITS (Building Integrated Timing System)

BITS provides clock reference for all

equipment in the telecom network which

needs synchronizing. Generally, it is

equipped with cesium-beam atomic clock

(oscillator). BITS is one of three

supporting telecom networks, viz.,

CCS#7 network, TMN, and Digital

Synchronization Network.

The Clock System for the Multi-Module SystemThe Clock System for the Multi-Module System

The central module SYZ gets synchronized with the superior clock to

generate working clock. Next the CKG of each PSM respectively

synchronizes or drives them. For nearby modules and the central

module, CKG acts merely as the clock driving board. But the CKG

of the remote module has the same functions of that of the single

module.
