A BOUT THE A UTHOR

Reverend David E. Longenecker is aminister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is agraduate of Rhema Bible Training Center andOral Roberts University. In addition, he hasworked with the Prayer and Healing Center atKenneth Hagin Ministries as a healingtechnician.

Church! The Waiting Is Over!

Romans 8:19“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for themanifestation of the sons of God.” – KJ

The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight of thesons of God coming into their own. – PHI

God’s whole universe can hardly wait for His children to be

shown to be what they really are. – STREET In fact, the fondest dream of the universe is to catch a glimpseof real live sons of God. – CP

The created world itself can hardly wait for what's coming next.– MESS

here is a groaning in the Church. Christians are on theirtiptoes to see what’s coming next. They know they

have not entered into the power the sons of God should possess,but they are waiting for it. This groaning is not only in theChurch. The world is also waiting for someone to stand up withan answer. They too are longing for God to be made real. Howwill this happen? Will God send some great revival? Will Hesend another wave of the Spirit? Or could it be that He hasalready made provision? Could it be that God has sent you?Maybe it is simply the time for God’s sons to stand up and taketheir place! Buthow can we takeour place if wedo not know whatthat place is?The Church isNOT in need of

another outpouring. The Church is in need of revelationconcerning eternal life. If God does send another wave of HisSpirit, that wave will be for people to find out what ZOE is allabout! The Church is already equipped with all the power of

heaven, we just don’t know it. When a believer understands all ZOE is and provides, that believer will be one of God’s sons the world is waiting to catch a glimpse of.

Death spread to all men (no one being able to stop it or escapeits power). – AMP

“All mankind sinned in Adam’s sin, because Adam, as his nameimplies, is the embodiment of all mankind.” – F.F Bruce’sNotes

What are we saying?

1. Adam made all unrighteous

2. Adam’s sin extended to the whole human race.

3. We were born under Adam’s inheritance (spiritual deathor the satanic nature).

4. We were born under satan’s dominion (the law of sinand death – Romans 8:2).

ONE MAN GOT US IN A MESS. BUT IT ONLYTAKES ONE MAN TO GET US OUT! THE CHRIST!!!

Romans 5:19“For as by one man’s disobedience many were madesinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be maderighteous.” – KJ

God would place man “InChrist” and complete him,

making man a finished work.

“Her seed” meant there would be a special conception,because the seed has always come from man. “It shall bruisethy head” means to take away the authority of a ruler in theOriental language. God said, “I will send another Son (the 2 nd

Adam – the Christ) who will take away your authority anddominion!” God had a plan! First, God would send the 2 nd Adam, the Christ, to take back the place and position the devilstole from man. Secondly, God would restore man to his

original position beforethe fall. Thirdly, Godwould place man “InChrist” and complete

him, making man afinished work. Finally, God would make sure the devil wouldforever be destroyed, defeated, crushed, paralyzed, anddethroned. The devil, who literally had the power of death(some translations say the king or lord of death in Hebrews2:14), would forever be defeated. God put the devil out ofcommission. The devil is defeated! He is no longer a realthreat. Let’s now look into the purpose of Jesus’ coming.

Ephesians 2:13-15“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off havebeen brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself isour peace, who has made both one, and has broken down

the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His fleshthe enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained inordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from thetwo, thus making peace.” – NKJ

God moving into man’s spirit and uniting Himself toman (totally one) produced a new being just like the Master,Jesus Christ. It produced a God-man: a man with God living onthe inside!

2 Corinthians 5:17

When a man becomes a Christian, a new act of creation happensto him. – BAR

A new race of humanity is now made. A new nation ofpeople called: “The New Creation Nation”. These are men andwomen who have been born out of the womb of God Himself.They are a new kind of being, a nation of God-men known asthe body of Christ! Those who are born again are now sons anddaughters made after the same order as Jesus. We are equippedwith the same equipment and can perform the same works.

Romans 8:29“For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be

conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the

firstborn among many brethren.” – KJGod, in His foreknowledge, chose them to bear the familylikeness of His Son, that He might be the eldest of a family ofmany brothers. – PHI

…Shaping them into the exact image of His Son, who thusbecame the first boy in a whole line of brothers. – CP

We were made out of the same pattern as Jesus so we could perform the same works of Jesus here in this earth!

Adam produced a fallen race. But Jesus produced a raceof God-men! He produced a new creation nation!! The number

one thing eternal life does in the recipient is makes him a new kind of being, a God-man!!

ZOE Makes Us One with Christ

1 Corinthians 6:17“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” –NKJ

But he who unites himself with the master forms a single spirit.– AUTH

But if you give yourself to the Lord, you and Christ are joined

together as one person. – LB

1 John 4:17“… as He is, so are we in this world.” – NKJ

e are one because of a common substance: ZOE!ZOE makes us everything Christ is (1 John 4:17). It is

our union with Christ that causes everything Christ is and has tobe made available to us. We should never view ourselves as

being separate from Christ. The more we see ourselves separatefrom Christ the less of Him we will experience. However, themore we see ourselves one with Christ the more we will beginto operate like Christ in this world.

Philippians 2:5“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” –NKJ

Think ye so in yourselves as Jesus the Messiah also thought. –SYRIAC

Let this same attitude and purpose and mind be in you… - AMP

Let the same disposition be in you… - WEY

Think just as Christ Jesus thought. – BECK

Let the spirit of Christ Jesus be yours also. – 20C

WHY?

Proverbs 23:7“For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” – NKJ

You have been made one with Christ, however, you willonly experience that reality as you accept it, embrace it, talk

about it and act on it. It isvital for a believer to seehimself united to God. It isthat union which produces themiraculous, as well as thecharacter of God in one’s life.

It was through Jesus’ union with the Father that He producedthe results He did. Likewise, it is through our union with Christthat we will do His works and even greater works than His.

Union produces results and Jesus knew it.

So how do I take spiritual realities and reshape my lifewith them? Good question. You do it the same way you seethe Father and Jesus do it, because you have been created intheir image.

Hebrews 11:3“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by theword of God, so that the things which are seen were notmade of things which are visible.” – KJ

Other translations say the world was formed or made atGod’s command. Likewise, your world will be formed andmade by your command of faith. By your command the thingsthat are spiritual realities will become visible in your life. Youhave to use YOUR mouth! Speak the word only! And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudesboth of men and women.) There came also a multitude outof the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sickfolks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: andthey were healed every one.” – KJ

Eternal life can live its own self out in the born again man just like it did in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Peter did not pray for all these people. The life of Godsaturated them and healing was the result. In faith, peoplewould touch Jesus’ garment without His permission. Yet, thelife of God would still heal and set them free . There are timeswe see devils crying out and manifesting simply because of thelife Jesus carried with Him. This life repels satan.

Matthew 8:28-32 “When He had come to the other side, to the country of theGergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men,coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no onecould pass that way. And suddenly they cried out, saying,"What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God?Have You come here to torment us before the time?" Now agood way off from them there was a herd of many swinefeeding. So the demons begged Him, saying, "If You cast usout, permit us to go away into the herd of swine." And Hesaid to them, "Go." So when they had come out, they wentinto the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd ofswine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, andperished in the water.” – NKJ

Jesus did not call these men over. He did not even knowthey were there, but as soon as ZOE hit the demons they beganto beg for their lives! Demons are scared of ZOE. Eternal life

will put them on the run!

The life of God will live its own self out in you andaffect the world around you when received in sufficient

measure! Remember, the word of God (ZOE) grows best in aheart of love, which is acted upon. The goal of Christianity is towalk in the spirit and live out of ZOE! We can change theworld! Now is the time for the sons of God to be revealed!

Now is your time!
