Zimbabwe Glass Industries Limited (Zimglass) is the sole manufacturer of glass packagingin Zimbabwe. It is situated in Gweru the Midlands Provincial Capital. An approved Coca Cola &S.A.B Miller supplier, the company serves both local and regional markets. We offer a wide rangeof glass packaging in flint, amber and green. With over 46 years of glassmaking experience thecompanymanufactures quality glass packaging whose product range is from 50ml – 1000ml forthe following market segments:

• Alcoholic beverages• Sparkling beverages• Food• Liquor/wines• Pharmaceuticals

Production facilities

• The company has capacity to operate 2 furnaces but one furnace G2 is currentlyoperating whose design capacity is 130 tons per day. Operating 2 I.S 8 section machinesusing press & blow, blow & blow process, and narrow neck press & blow processes.

• G1 furnace is currently mothballed and awaits refurbishment to improve productionsystems and product range. Potential investors and technical partners are being harnessedto fund the project.

• The company operates a decorating plant capable of decorating 125 bottles perminute for a 300ml bottle and 90 bottles per minute for 1 000ml bottle.

• Support services of technical and sales liaison are backed by working partnership withEurope’s best known glass equipment manufacturers so that products comply withinternationally accepted quality standards
