Self-sufficient greenhouses
Introduction
There are a place where you can´t get electrical supply.
How will produce vegetables for basic food?
Self-sufficient greenhouses
Introduction.
With Zelula Zero projectgreenhouses with independent energy supply system

Project collaboratorsELTAC and PARSOURCE with the collaboration of other companies
specialized in renewable energies make it possible.
Self-sufficient greenhouses
Why Zelula Zero?• Greenhouse’s
installations need a lot of energy to operate, because microclimates are generated artificially
• Our solution: to supply electrical power to the installation with renewable energy, looking for the best ones per each area.

History of the project
PASTWe have been working on the project during 10 years and we’re progressing with the advance of technology.
PRESENTIn our laboratory, we optimize the performance of electrical and electronic equipment that conform zelula zero.
FUTUREObjective 2014-2015
To create zelula zero greenhouse modules with different surfaces.
Self-sufficient greenhouses
PRESENT: LABORATORY• In this
experimental laboratory, we can see how the plants grow with different type of light and artificially generated under different climates.
• Ratify the energy consumption of all electrical equipment installed in the laboratory.
Self-sufficient greenhouses
To achieve Zelula Zero
• With the mix of renewables energies we will be able to make the greenhouse sel-suficient.
• Building modules of different sizes and technificate self-sufficient greenhouses .
Self-sufficient greenhouses
Solar energyWe use photovoltaic panels with translucent surface. Due to the level of opacity they produce more or less energy.
To change a conventional greenhouse roof for photovoltaic ones, reduces temperature inside the Greenhouse and produces energy.
Translucent solar panels
Photovoltaic systems turn sun's radiant energy into electrical power.
Self-sufficient greenhouses
Wind energy
• Wind power converts wind movement into electricity.
• With the wind map of the greenhouse´s location, we can know whether wind power is able to cover the electricity needs or not.

Geothermal energy
• Geothermal energy uses the ability of the land to remain at a constant temperature throughout the year.
• Geothermal supply environmental heating without any combustion.

Biomass energy
• Biomass is any organic material used as a source of energy
• Organic rests of the crops are burned in a biomass boiler to generate energy.biomass boiler
