Zeitschrift für Semiotik Edited by Ellen Fricke (Chemnitz/Germany), Roland Posner (Berlin/Germany) and Martin Siefkes (Chemnitz/Germany) Copy Editing by Veronika Opletalová (Olomouc/Czech Republic) The peer-reviewed Zeitschrift für Semiotik/Journal of Semiotics, founded in 1979, is the official publication organ of the German Semiotics Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Semiotik). The journal is indexed in Scopus and in Erih Plus. The journal brings into focus themes from all fields of semiotics, organized by guest editors. Manuscripts will undergo a process of external peer review. The main criteria for publication are innovativeness, depth of engagement with semiotic traditions and theories, and analytical precision. Both theoretical articles and studies reporting on empirical and experimental approaches are welcome. If you wish to become a guest editor of the Zeitschrift für Semiotik, you may propose a thematic issue. Please write to [email protected] Traditionally, the journal published only German-language articles. However, the journal has recently changed its policy. Issues can now contain up to 50 % of English-language content, with the remaining content in German. The first issue that contains 50 % English content is the issue 37, 3-4/2015 on “Biosemiotische Ethik/Biosemiotic ethics”. It was jointly co-edited by Morten Tønnessen, Jonathan Beever and Yogi Hale Hendlin.
