    Dates: July 6 18, 2015 Participants will depart from

    their various global locations from July 5 6, and

    arrive in Zambia on July 6.

    Participants: We are inviting entities, companies

    and individuals from around the globe that are

    interested in Business & Investment opportunities in

    emerging African markets to participate in this

    tour. We have a maximum number of 50 spaces

    representing corporations, businesses and/or

    Investment Sectors: Tour activities cover multiple

    investment sectors, and we are emphasizing

    Agribusiness/Agriculture (including Livestock

    Development and Aquaculture), Mining/Mineral

    Processing, Energy (particularly Hydroelectricity

    and alternative energy sources), Infrastructure

    (particularly Waste Management, Rail

    Development, and Transportation), Construction,

    Manufacturing, Natural Resources, Wildlife, and

    Telecommunications.

    Tour Structure: The tour is a combination of tourism

    activities and informative sessions about

    investment opportunities in Zambia. We have

    identified Zambias ideal touristic/scenic locations

    that coordinate well with the investment sectors

    that we seek to emphasize. Participants in the tour

    will enjoy these areas while receiving information

    from sector specialists on investing in the particular

    sector that is directly or indirectly related to the

    particular touristic/scenic location being visited

    during the tour. Ultimately, the tour will cover 8

    cities/towns and 6 provinces of amazing Zambia.

    Day 1 LUSAKA Welcome You will arrive on July 6 to be received at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. (Travel may need to commence on July 5 for certain departure cities.) From the airport youll be taken via luxury coach to the 5-star Mika Convention Centre Hotel in Lusaka to rest and refresh prior to evening dinner. Dinner will feature welcome addresses by Zambian officials and selected ministry representatives. After dinner, as with every evening during the tour, youll have evening entertainment specific to the region that the tour is in. Day 2 LUSAKA Appraisals After breakfast youll depart for the renowned Namwane Art Gallery, home to the impressive private collection of businessman and patron of the arts, John Kapotwe. After touring Namwane discussions will be held with Zambian governing bodies so you can be apprised of essential information about engaging in business activities in Zambia. Following the tour and appraisals, you will enjoy catered lunch featuring traditional Zambian cuisine. Lunch will be the precursor for afternoon recreation in which you will choose from a list of options for recreational activities that includes a golf outing at Lusaka Golf Club, visiting Kalimba Reptile Park, Kabwata Cultural Village, Chaminuka Wildlife Estate, or having a traditional African spa treatment. When the afternoons recreational activities have concluded, you shall return to the Mika Hotel to refresh and prepare for dinner. Dinner will be combined with evening entertainment that will feature a Zambian cultural dance troupe.

    Day 3 SOLWEZI Gold, Copper, Cobalt, Tourism Day three of the tour will focus on your Business & Investment opportunities in the Gold, Copper, Cobalt, and Tourism industries. Youll begin the day by checking out of the Mika Hotel and returning to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport for your departure flight to the mining town of Solwezi, capital of Zambias Northwestern Province. Once in Solwezi by 8:40 a.m. you have breakfast before commencing a Gold and Copper mine tour. During the tour of the mine you will gain valuable information from discussions and presentations on Business & Investment opportunities in Gold, Copper, and Cobalt mining and processing in Zambia. After breaking for lunch you will conclude the mine tour and visit Kifubwa Stream Cave and Kfubwa National Monument. While at Kifubwa, youll benefit from discussions on Business & Investment opportunities in the Tourism sector for the Solwezi region. After visiting Kifubwa youll be taken to your room at the Royal Solwezi Hotel so that you may rest and refresh in preparation for dinner and evening entertainment. Day 4 SOLWEZI/MUTANDA FALLS Iron Ore, Northwest Rail, Tourism Day four of the tour gives you a chance to explore your Business & Investment opportunities in Zambias Iron Ore, Rail, and Tourism industries. After breakfast youll depart for a tour of a major Iron Ore mine. During the tour you will learn of Business & Investment opportunities from presentations on the Iron industry of Zambia. After touring the Iron Ore mine you will have lunch and then visit the Northwest Rail Project. This is a major infrastructure project in Zambia that, once

  • 3completed, will give Zambia a direct rail link to the Atlantic Ocean. This is a major development for virtually all that are involved in Business activities in Zambia. While visiting the rail project you will learn of Business & Investment opportunities within Zambias Infrastructure sector. Following your visit to the Northwest Rail Project, you will visit Mutanda Falls, a collection of small waterfalls near the source of Africas fourth longest river, the Zambezi. While enjoying the beauty and serenity of Mutanda Falls you will enjoy an evening cookout with savory game meat roasted on a spit. During the course of the cookout you will be given more presentations on your opportunities for Business & Investment in Zambias Tourism sector. Day 5 NDOLA Emeralds, Beryl, Gemstones, Diamonds Day five of your tour will provide you with an experience that very few in the world will ever have. On this day you will visit some of Zambias finest Gemstone mines and get a glimpse into what makes Zambia the worlds number one producer of Gemstones. You will start the day with a short drive from Solwezi to Ndola, the capital of Zambias Copperbelt Province, for a tour of an Emerald and Beryl mine. During the mine tour you will have discussions and be presented with information about your opportunities for Business & Investment in the Gemstone and Diamond industries of Zambia. Following the mine tour, youll visit the Gemstone Processing and Lapidary Training Centre in Ndola to see how Zambias valuable rough Gemstones are cut and polished to transform them into priceless fine works of art in preparation for jewelry markets all over the world. During your visit to the GPLTC you receive presentations on your Business & Investment opportunities in Gemstone processing and international trading of Zambian precious and semi-precious stones.

    Once youve concluded your visit to the GPLTC, you will attend a Gemstone auction where youll have an opportunity to purchase Gemstones for commercial purposes or for your personal collection. Following the Gemstone auction, you will be taken to your room at the Savoy Hotel, Ndola to rest and refresh before dinner and evening entertainment. During dinner there will be a Q&A session on the Gemstone and Mining industries in Zambia. Day 6&7 SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK Wildlife, Natural Resources, Agribusiness/Agriculture Day six and seven of your tour provide a major highlight of the tour. Following breakfast you will checkout of the Savoy Hotel and proceed to Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola for your departure flight to Mfuwe in the Eastern Province of Zambia. After landing at Mfuwe, you will be taken to your lodging at the magnificent South Luangwa National Park! South Luangwa National Park is considered one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The park has over 60 species of animals and 400 different bird species. The parks concentration of animals near the Luangwa River is among the most intense concentrations of animals in Africa. For two consecutive days of your tour you will be immersed in breathtaking wildlife in the natural habitat of South Luangwa. While at the park you will have a full range of activities to participate in, including day safaris, night safaris, walking safaris, riverboat cruises, and much more! During dinner at the lodge of your accommodation, you will receive presentations on your Business & Investment opportunities in Zambias Wildlife, Natural Resources, and Agriculture sectors.

    Day 8 KAFUE, SIAVONGA, LAKE KARIBA Agribusiness/Agriculture, Livestock After spending two days in the wildlife sanctuary of South Luangwa National Park, you will return to Mfuwe on the eighth day of the tour to fly back to Lusaka to be transferred to the town of Siavonga, situated on the north shore of Lake Kariba in Zambias Southern Province. While en route to Lake Kariba, you will stop to visit and tour a major farm block just south of Lusaka in the Kafue area. Opening farm blocks for commercial development and expansion of Zambias Agriculture sector is a major part of Zambias land development program. Near Kafue you will visit a farm block that has been identified for potential investors. While visiting the farm block you will be given a thorough presentation on your Business & Investment opportunities in Zambias highly profitable Agriculture sector. Following your farm block visit, you will continue on to Siavonga. After arriving in Siavonga you will check-in to your room at Lake Kariba Inns to rest and refresh before having dinner and beginning your stay on the magnificent Lake Kariba! During dinner and prior to evening entertainment, you will receive presentations on your Business & Investment opportunities in Zambias Energy sector, Land Development, and Tourism & Arts. Day 10 LAKE KARIBA Cruise Day ten of your tour will feature an overnight cruise of Lake Kariba with a full array of cruise activities. Day 11 SIAVONGA Energy, Agriculture, Fisheries, Telecommunications After returning to Siavonga from your overnight cruise, on day eleven of your tour you will visit the Kariba Dam Wall and tour the Kariba North Bank Power Station. During your visit to the power station you will receive presentations on your Business & Investment opportunities in Zambias Energy sector. From the Kariba North Bank Power station you will visit and tour a Commercial Fish Farm. While at the fish farm youll receive a presentation on your Business & Investment opportunities in Fish Farming and other opportunities in the Agriculture subsector of Aquaculture. Day 12 CHILANGA, LUSAKA Construction, Manufacturing, Transportation, Waste Management On day twelve of the tour you will depart from Siavonga for Lusaka. Your first tour activity of the day will be visiting and touring a cement factory in Chilanga, about 15 minutes south of Lusaka. When touring the factory, you will receive a presentation on your Business & Investment opportunities in the Construction sector of Zambia. Following your visit to the cement factory, you will visit and tour a packaging plant in Lusaka. During the tour of the packaging plant, you will receive a presentation on your Business & Investment opportunities in Zambias Manufacturing sector. After visiting the cement factory and packaging plant, youll have lunch before visiting the Henry Tayali Visual Arts Centre.     On the day of your departure, your tour schedule will be commensurate to the time of your departure flight from Zambia. If youre departing on an evening flight, you will have a full range of options for recreation in Lusaka during the day. Your options will include golf at the Lusaka Golf Club, spa & fitness, a city tour of Lusaka, or shopping at one of Lusakas major shopping outlets. If youre departing from Zambia on a morning or afternoon flight, you will be transported to the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport accordingly.
