Zach McCullough, Alvin Orange to Release Lyric Video for ‘Alive’, Collaborating on New Material

New York, NY- Singer/songwriter Zach McCullough and music producer Alvin Orange will be releasing a lyric video for their song, ‘Alive,’ which debuted in early August 2015. Although an official date has not been set, the tandem expects the video to be released before the end of August. It will be available on YouTube (Click to View).

‘Alive’ is an alternative, electronic ballad, about going through challenging times in life, surviving, and learning about oneself along the journey. Says McCullough and Orange, “This song represents a reflective time in life where one is still figuring things out, and getting over a painful experience. We all go through tough times; the important thing is to evaluate the hardship and then grow from it. From a music perspective, we can certainly relate. Releasing music is a long journey. It involves putting in the hours and is filled with ups and downs. Getting his start in music performing as the lead singer in multiple rock bands, Alvin decided to focus on production where he could assist artists and songwriters in taking their songs to the next level. He is now the owner of his own Music Production Company, called ‘Rockoranything.’

McCullough, the artist and songwriter based in the greater New York area who got his start in musical theatre, describes himself as a true “rocker” at heart. His sound is influenced by alternative rock and trip hop, an electronic genre which originated in the UK in the ‘90’s.

McCullough and Orange will be busy this fall working together on producing new material. Their latest track, composed in the Japanese Gardens in Brooklyn, New York, will be available in October, while a third song can be anticipated for December 2015.
