GOVERMENT MEDICAL cOLLEGE SRINAGARADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Applications on prescribed forms on. payment of Rs. 200/- (two hundred) only against Bank receipt are invited from Medical Graduates who are permanent residents of J&K State and who have completed their internship from the MCI recognized Medical institutions and are possessing permanent registration certificate from the J&K State Medical Council/MCS for full time House Job in various specialties of Government Medical College Srinagar and its Associated Hospitals for a period of 06 months on consolidated stipend for the Session starting 1st July 2014. The Se-lection of the candidates will be made as per the Guidelines prescribed by the Government, subject to the amendment by the Government from time to time. Preference will be given to those candidates who are completing one year's internship upto 24-06-2014 (fresh batch). Those candidates who have completed one year's internship upto ending May, 2013 or before need not apply.

Candidates who have previously done one year's House Job or those who have left the House Job halfway (lst/2nd spell) shall not be eligible to apply.

Application forms can be had from office of Registrar Academics Government Medical College Srinagar w.e.f. 10-06-2014 to 24-06-2014 during office hours. The candidates who down load their application forms from official website i.e. www.gmcs.edu.in shall submit form along with bank receipt for Rs.200/- in the office of the Principal/Dean, CMC, Srinagar by or before 27-06-2014 at 3.00 pm on production of following certificates:-

The House Surgeons will be whole time and will be non-practicing3. During tenure as House Surgeons they shall not be entitled to any kind of leave except casual leave for 07 days

only. The House Surgeon availing excess leave during the period of House job shall be allowed to repeat the same in his/her own interest without any stipend only on compassionate grounds if authorities are satisfied and after obtain-ing prior permission from

4.The services of House Officers shall be terminated by the PMC without prior notice as and when their work and conduct is reported to be unsatisfactory by the HOD or any officer with whom they are working.

5.The House Surgeon shall not be allowed to take part directly or indirectly in any strikes on any pretext, in such event any House Surgeon if found involved in such practice, his/her house job shall be deemed to have been can-celled with immediate effect without any furthernotice,

6.The stipend for one month will be kept with-held and will be paid only after successfulcompletion of full tenure of House job.7.Selection of the candidates to different specialties will be made by the House Job Selection Committee as per the

requirement/ vacancies in different specialties.8.The selected candidates shall be required to submit an affidavit to the effect that he/she willnot leave the House

Job midway and will serve for the tenure period of 06 months. In theevent of his/her leaving the House Job midway, a candidate shall be required to refund thestipend already drawn by him/her on this account and no experience cer-tificate under any circumstances shall be issued.
