8. Rewrite Unit S/N to Device
The below is the procedure to rewrite unit S/N into the device after replacing another MB for unit repair . It is required to perform Rewrite unit S/N when the repair action includes replacing MB.
1) Tools setting
A. Double click "MTKWriteNumber" to open the tool
B. Select Station="write barcode", ComPort="USB VCOM"

9. SD card download guide
Attention: there are two kinds of SD card download, select "update-*****-sds.zip"
will delete the user data, select "update-*****.zip" will not
1) Copy update*****.zip to the SD card, then insert the SD card to mobile phone.
2) Press and hold the "down volume key", then press the "power key" till going
into “recovery mode”, Press "down volume key" to select "Recovery mode",
Press "up volume key" to into Recovery Mode.
3) Press "volume_up" and "volume_down" to select item "apply update form
sdcard", Press "power key" to enter sdcard/

Common causes of failure to upgrade:
A. Use wrong files to upgrade, for example, use others models software. Measures: use
correct files.
B. When copy original files from computer to SD card, anti-virus software maybe break
some internal files or SD card is defective, lead to upgrade package copied be different
from the original package , use tool for contrasting or contrast md5 can recognise ,
verifying files failure in the process of upgrading lead to upgrade failure.
Measures: delete the software package in the SD card, recopy again to try or change another
SD card, copy original package again to retry.

10.1 Dismantling machine tools:The screwdriver,tweezers,teardown piece
10.2 Disassembly steps: ① Take the battery cover:From the bottom of the battery cover from mobile phone;

③ Insert the pry bar(or disassemble chip)to the bottom gap of rear housing and front housing, then
pry off all the housing hook around the cellphone, then separate the rear housing and front housing;

④ Opening rear camera connector;Remove the rear Camera,take care to avoid damage of FPC;
⑤ Separation of all the connectors and key FPC,vibrator :

B、Use the tweezers from front cover open dismount and speakers,ocation
see below the yellow block diagram;

⑥ Separation of side key and antenna bracket:
A.Use tweezers with front cover side key FPC separation
B.Separate the antenna bracket on the front cover,Pay attention to the
direction of disassembly,see below the blue arrow;
Remark: to avoid the side key FPC being
damaged when disassembling, pls
follow below steps:
1 、 insert the tweezers point from
bottom side of FPC, to make its bottom
side separate from front housing ;
2、then insert the tweezers point from
topside , to make its top side separate
from front housing;
3、use tweezers to take out the FPC from
the slot slowly

⑦ Separation of the mainboard:Separate the motherboard on the front
cover,Pay attention to the main board and conductive adhesive between
the front cover;
⑧ Separate the antenna board and the receiver:Can antenna board be used
from the front Cover on separation, pay attention to the small plate
under the conductive adhesive,location see below the red block diagram;

⑨ Separation the front camera and the coaxial line:1.The front camera
with the coaxial line from the motherboard,location see below the red

shell component separation once upon a time, with the 3in1 antenna

⑪ With heat gun first heated the drive label (temperature is set in 90-
95 ℃), the drive label in the corner of cock with anti-static tweezers,
then remove the drive label on the front housing components.

a. With heat gun first heated the TP (temperature is set in 90-95 ℃),
remove the TP.
b. Heating LCM border, the heating temperature is set in 90-95 ℃, using
teardown bar at the bottom of the shell before LCM teardown the LCM jacking,
and use up LCM is separated from former shell, remove the LCM.

11. Test ways and steps
Power on test
A. Insert MicroSIM1 card, MicroSIM2 card, and T-flash card into the mobile phone.
B. Insert Battery into the mobile phone and cover the Battery cover.
C. Press power-on key until LCD display, wait the mobile phone power on.

C. Backlight test.
Click on "Backlight" into the Backlight test, click on the "Cycle test", the LCD backlight
brightness by 0.5 seconds frequency increasing step by step, the software adopts three levels of
brightness test cycles.Check whether the mobile phone is increasing brightness change step by
step, if it is said the test is successful, click on the "success" returns a single test menu.

Click on the "Touch panel", click on the "Crossed calibration”,his fingers on the blue wire
frame line drawing, line drawing through the display for the red box body, a green line, if the test

E. T-Flash test
Click on the "T-flash", the test can identify whether the memory card, if the normal function of
memory card shows green "T-flash is ok", or display memory card test to fail. click "Success", cell

F. Bluetooth test
click on the "Bluetooth", the phone automatically open bluetooth, and search for bluetooth
devices.Search to the perimeter of the bluetooth devices, mobile phones will display a search to

G. Sim card test
Test SIM card can identify, if the normal function of SIM card shows green "SIM: exist", click
"Back", cell phone will enter a single test menu.

Click on the "Vibrator", the motor vibration, if the motor vibration test ok. click on the

Click on "WLAN" into the WIFI testing interface, mobile phone will automatically search the
surrounding available WIFI signal, and the SSID number displayed.if test ok, click "Success",

12. Calibration sensor
12.1 G-Sensor calibration
1) Press and hold the "up volume key", then press the "power key" more than 4s,the device will power on and enter Factory Mode.
2) Press volume down key to select "sensor 测试". Press "home" key to into
“sensor 测试”interface.Press volume down key to select "单项测试",press
“home key into “单项测试”interface.
