Amser: Rhaid dod â’r Arddangosfa noson cyn y Rali rhwng 6.30yh a 9.00yh. Bydd y sied yn agor am 8.00yb ar fore’r Rali a rhaid i bob arddangosfa fod yn barod i’w feirniadu erbyn 10.00yb.

Trydan: Bydd un soced drydan ar gael i bob arddangosfa, a chaniateir un wifren drydan i ddod o bob arddangosfa.

Dylai’r timoedd gofio bydd yr arddangosfa yn cael ei gweld gan bobol o bob oedran. FEDERATION DISPLAY THEME: NURSERY RHYMES Team: Up to six members (26 years of age or under) No more than four members

to stage and prepare displays. The two additional members are only permitted to erect the frame.

Measurements: Space allowed 6' (1m 82.9 cm) high; 6' (1m 82.9 cm) wide; 4'6" (1m 37.1 cm) deep - maximum outside measurements (please see general rules regarding penalties for displays which do not meet the necessary size specification)

Time: Displays must be brought to the site the night before between 6.30pm and 9.00pm. The shed will be open at 8.00am on the day of the Rally and all displays to be ready for judging by 10.00am.

Electric: One electric socket will be available per display, and only one trailing lead allowed from the display.

Notes: All members must wear white coats. Participating clubs to be responsible for all labelling, which may be in English only, Welsh only, or bilingual. All construction to be made by members. Competitors are responsible for all items on display.

Important: No perishable foods allowed. Scoring: Interpretation of Theme – 30; Workmanship of Backing and Staging – 15;

Workmanship of Content – 20; Overall Impression and Presentation – 25;

Use of Space Allowed – 10. Total marks = 100. Teams must remember that the display should be suitable for viewing by all ages.

hynny drwy unrhyw gyfrwng. Rhaid i’r aelodau gwblhau prawf ymarferol yn unol â chyfarwyddiadau y Beirniaid, i amlygu’r sgiliau a ddefnyddiwyd i greu’r eitem. Dylai aelodau ddod â deunyddiau gyda hwy yn barod ar gyfer y prawf ymarferol.

of age and under. Task: Members of the team will be required to depict a nursery rhyme of their

choice through any medium. Members must complete a practical test, as directed by the judge to showcase the skills used to create the item. All items for the practical test to be brought on the day of the competition.

Measurements: Half a trestle table – working space for practical test. Display Space: 60cm (deep) x 60cm (width) x unlimited height. Measurements are to

include whole exhibit. Important Date: Item only to be submitted by 10.00am on Wednesday 29th of May 2019 at

Felinfach Educational Centre. Work Space: Half a trestle table Time: 30 minutes allowed for the practical test and 30 minutes to display the

exhibit. Marking system: Standard of depiction – 70; Practical Test - 30; Total marks = 100.

CYSTADLEUAETH GOSOD BLODAU CYSTADLEUAETH YR AELODAU Thema: Chwedlau Tîm: Un aelod (16 oed neu iau) Tasg: Paratoi trefniant o flodau i ddarlunio chwedl o’ch dewis. Aelodau i wisgo

cotiau gwyn. Costau: Dim mwy na £30 (heb gynnwys y dail). Rhaid arddangos y costau. Arddangosfa: Gall cystadleuwyr ddefnyddio cefnfwrdd os y dymunant, ond rhaid iddynt eu

darparu eu hunain. Lle Gweithio: Hanner bwrdd trestl. Mesuriadau: Caniateir lled (76cm) x dyfnder (60cm). Dim Cyfyngder Uchder

Amser: 1 awr a 5 munud ychwanegol i sicrhau nad yw’r trefniant wedi cael eu haflonyddu wrth glirio.

FLORAL COMPETITION MEMBERS' COMPETITION Theme: Myths & Legends Team: One member (16 years of age or under) Task: Prepare an arrangement to depict a myth or legend of your choice.

Members to wear white coats. Costings: Not to exceed £30 (excluding Foliage). Costings to be displayed. Display: A background can be used if the competitor wishes but are to supply these

themselves. Work Space: Half a trestle table. Measurements: Size allowed (76cm) wide x (60cm) deep x unlimited height Time: 1 hour plus a further 5 minutes to check that arrangements have not been

disturbed during cleaning up operations. Marking System: Total marks 100 - to be judged according to the guidelines (outlined below)

laid down by the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (N.A.F.A.S.). Copies of the NAFAS Competitions Manual (third edition) may be obtained from NAFAS Enterprises Ltd, Osborne House, 12 Devonshire Square, London, EC2M 4TE. Tel: 02072475567.

1. Adherence to the competition wording. 2. Predominance of plant material over all other components. 3. Plant material that is unblemished, well conditioned and appropriate. 4. Clear interpretation of the title and chosen theme. Plant material should

help to interpret the chosen theme without the sole reliance on accessories. 5. Good use of design principles and of the space allowed. The use of balance,

scale, line, space, texture, and colour contribute to the total harmony. 6. Tablecloth and bases if used, as well as container and any title, in

immaculate condition, suitable to the theme and not dominant in size or colour.

7. Accessories if used that are in harmony with the rest of the exhibit and that are in scale with it and with each other.

CYSTADLEUAETH COGINIO CYSTADLEUAETH YR AELODAU Thema: Triawd o Fwyd Stryd. Tîm: Dau aelod (26 oed neu’n iau) Tasg: Tîm o ddau aelod i baratoi triawd o fwyd stryd i un person gan ddefnyddio

cynnyrch lleol os yn bosib. Bydd disgwyl i’r cystadleuwyr gynnwys o leiaf un pryd sawrus ac un pryd melys. Bydd yn ofynnol hefyd i aelodau lenwi holiadur hylendid bwyd yn ystod yr amser penodedig. Ni ddylai cyfanswm y costau fod yn fwy na £20.

Offer: Rhaid i bob clwb ddarparu popty trydan bychan eu hunain sydd â’r cynllun canlynol: Gril a ring drydan bychan neu bopty â ring drydan bychan neu ddwy ring yn unig. Darperir soced drydan 13amp ar gael ar gyfer unrhyw offer y bydd cystadleuwyr yn dymuno eu defnyddio, megis cymysgydd, hylifydd ac ati. Caniateir un soced ychwanegol yn unig.

COOKERY COMPETITION MEMBERS' COMPETITION Theme: A trio of streetfood. Team: Two members (26 years of age or under) Task: Team of two members to prepare a trio of streetfood for one person, local

produce to be used where possible. Competitors will need to include a minimum of one savoury and one sweet dish. Members will also be required to complete a food hygiene questionnaire during the specified time. Costs must not exceed £20 in total.

Equipment: All clubs to provide a small electric cooker which is operated as follows: Grill plus small ring or oven plus small ring or two rings only. A 13 amp socket will be available for any appliances that competitors may wish to use, such as a mixer, liquidiser, etc. Only one extra socket will be allowed.

Time: One hour for cooking, to include displaying of meal in the white alcove (68.5cm x 68.5cm x 61cm high) (backing material and accessories may be arranged prior to the commencement of the one hour and will be outside of this time). No cooking to be done beforehand, but ingredients may be weighed and vegetables/fruit washed beforehand. Recipes and research work must be presented and displayed.

Important Dates: All recipies, research work and receipts must be presented and displayed to the County Office by the 28th of May.

Work Space: One trestle table including cooker space. Display: Meal to be displayed in the white alcove provided (68.5cm x 68.5cm x 61cm

high) (backing material and accessories may be arranged by the competitors prior to the commencement of the one hour and will be outside of this time). All exhibits to be within the alcove size/space including any drapes or lining, in/on serving dishes/containers (competitors to supply). Accessories that are in harmony with the rest of the exhibit and that are in scale with it and each other, but not dominant, are allowed. No Drinks to be displayed in the alcove, with the exception of glasses and empty drinks bottles.

Scoring: Previous preparation & presentation of table – 5; Method of working - 15; Originality/ Suitability /Research of Menu – 20; Presentation/Display – 15; Finished results of prepared item colour/flavour/texture/etc) – 35; Questionnaire - 10. Total marks = 100.

CRAFT COMPETITION MEMBERS' COMPETITION Team: One member (21 years of age or under) Task: Create ONE puppet from any medium suitable for children.

Members must complete a practical test, as directed by the judge to showcase the skills used to create the item. Members should bring materials with them in readiness for the practical test.

Measurements: Half a trestle table – working space for practical test. Display Space –

45cm (deep) x 45cm (width) x unlimited height. Measurements are to include whole exhibit.

Costings: Not to exceed £20 in total. Costings to be displayed. Note: All items used should have a value.

Time: 30 minutes allowed for practical test and 30 minutes following practical test to display the exhibit.

Work Space: Half a trestle table Important Date: 24th of May 2019 – to inform the office if an electrical socket 13amp is

required. Item only to be submitted by 10.00am on Wednesday 29th of May 2019 at Felinfach Educational Centre.

Marking system: Originality and choice - 15; Design – 15; Workmanship – 30; Presentation and appearance of finished item – 15; Practical test – 25. Total marks = 100.

CNEIFIO DEFAID Tîm: Dau aelod (un 26 oed ac un 21 oed neu’n iau) Tasg: Aelodau i gneifio dau oen yr un. Sylwer: Mae’n rhaid i gystadleuwyr ddarparu eu pen cneifio eu hunain.

Rhaid i bob cystadleuydd sy’n cystadlu yng nghystadleuaeth cneifio CFfI fod wedi pasio Prawf Medrusrwydd NPTC neu Wobr Glas y Bwrdd Gwlân, a gofynnir am dystiolaeth o hynny ar ddiwrnod y gystadleuaeth.

SHEEP SHEARING COMPETITION Team: Two members (one 26 and one 21 years of age or under) Task: Members to shear two lambs each. Notes: Competitors must provide their own shearing heads.

All members must have passed either a NPTC Proficiency Test or a BWMB Blue Seal in Sheep Shearing to compete in the YFC Sheep Shearing Competition, which will be checked on the day of the competition.

Marking: The BISCA Rules and marking system for 2019 will apply.

TRIN GWLAN Tîm: Un aelod (26 mlwydd oed neu iau) Tasg: Un aelod i drin dau gnu o wlân. Nodiadau: Mae cystadleuwyr yn gyfrifol am ddarparu Hysgub (brwsh) eu hunain. CANU Tîm: Unigol – Un aelod (26 oed neu iau), Grŵp – hyd at 6 aelod a dim llai na 2

aelod (26 oed neu iau). Tasg: Unigol – Efelychu un o ganeuon Rhif Un yn y Siart Prydeinig neu un o

ganeuon 40 Mawr Radio Cymru. Grŵp – Perfformio cân / cymysgedd o ganeuon ‘Eurovision’ neu Cân i Gymru.

Cyfeiliant: Gall aelodau ddarparu eu hofferynnau neu gyfeiliant eu hunain (caniateir aelodau ychwanegol 26 oed neu’n iau ac un unigolyn dros 26 oed i gyfeilio). Nid oes cyfyngiad ar nifer y darnau cerddoriaeth a ddefnyddir. NI FYDD CFfI Ceredigion yn darparu piano.

SINGING Team: Solo - One member (26 years of age or under), Group – up to 6 singers but

no less than 2 singers (26 years of age or under). Task: Solo section – Emulate a British No. 1 / 40 Mawr Radio Cymru. Group –

Perform a song / medley from Eurovision or ‘Cân i Gymru’. Accompaniment: Members may provide their own instruments or an accompaniment

(additional members allowed (26 and under) and one individual over 26 years of age for accompaniment). There is no restriction on the number of music pieces used. Ceredigion YFC will NOT supply a piano.

Time: Maximum time allowed for each section is 5 minutes. Penalties: Up to 15 seconds overtime - 2 penalty marks; Up to 30 seconds overtime - 5

penalty marks; And a further 5 penalty marks will be deducted for every 15 seconds thereafter.

Equipment: Members to supply the appropriate CD/mp3 files (no tapes are allowed) which should include backing vocals only (CD/mp3’s will be operated by the YFC PA technician).

Important Date: Submission of music file to Ceredigion YFC Office by 28th of May, 2019 (mp3 files to be e-mailed to ceredigion@yfc-wales.org.uk)

Marking System: Performance – 35; Vocal - 35; Originality - 10; Overall Effect - 20. Total marks = 100.

DAWNSIO Tîm: Tîm o rhwng 4 ac 8 aelod (26 oed neu iau). Bydd rhaid i’r un pedwar aelod

berfformio’r ddwy ddawns. Caniateir aelodau ychwanegol (hyd at 4) i berfformio yn yr ail ddawns neu’r llall.

Tasg: 1. Perfformio dawns o Sioe Gerdd sydd wedi bod ar lwyfan neu sgrin. 2. Yna, dylai timau berfformio dawns gyferbyniol.

Lle: Darperir llwyfan 20’ x 20’. Amser: Caniateir uchafswm o 8 munud ar gyfer pob tim. Mae angen i bob tim

berfformio am isafswm o 4 munud. Cosbau: Hyd at 15 eiliad dros amser – 2 farc cosb; Hyd at 30 eiliad dros amser – 5

marc cosb ynghyd â 5 marc ychwanegol am bob 15 eiliad ar ôl hynny. Offer: Bydd y technegydd sain yn gyfrifol am chwarae’r CDs/mp3. Dylai

Sgorio: Dawns 1 – 50; Dawns 2 – 50; Cyfanswm marciau = 100. DANCING Team: A team of between 4 and 8 members (26 years of age or under). The same

four members must dance both dances. Additional members (up to 4) are allowed to perform in either dance.

Task: 1. Perform a dance from a Musical; be it stage or screen. 2. Teams are then to perform a contrasting style of dance.

Space: A 20’ x 20’ stage will be provided. Time: Maximum time allowed for each team is eight minutes. Minimum time

allowed for each team is four minutes. Penalties: Up to 15 seconds overtime – 2 penalty marks; Up to 30 seconds overtime – 5

penalty marks; and a further 5 marks will be deducted for every 15 seconds thereafter.

Equipment: The PA technician will be responsible for playing all CD’s/mp3’s (no tapes are allowed). Competitors to provide their own CD’s/mp3 but PA equipment will be provided.

Important Date: Submission of music file to Ceredigion YFC Office must be made by the 28th of May 2019, (mp3 files to be e-mailed to ceredigion@yfc-wales.org.uk).

Time: The performance should be a minimum of 4 minutes and a maximum of 8 minutes including the setting and clearing of the stage.

Time Penalties: Up to 15 seconds overtime - 2 penalty marks; Up to 30 seconds overtime - 5 penalty marks; And a further 5 penalty marks will be deducted for every 15 seconds thereafter.

Equipment: Backing tracks / sounds are allowed. Members to supply the appropriate CD/mp3 files (no tapes are allowed) which should include backing vocals only (CD/mp3’s will be operated by the YFC PA technician). Microphones – competitors will have the choice of upto six hand held radio mics or headset radio mics.

Costings: No more than £25 to be spent on charity shop clothing (receipts to be presented). The budget for the customisation should not exceed £15 (receipts to be presented). Maximum total budget - £40.

Time: Maximum of 5 minutes

Penalties: Up to 15 seconds overtime/undertime – 2 penalty marks; up to 30 seconds overtime – 5 penalty marks; a further 5 penalty marks will be deducted for every 15 seconds thereafter.

Only battery powered drills and impact screw drivers will be allowed no other battery operated tools are allowed. No extra attachments on the drill are allowed. No nail guns allowed. No staple guns. Competitiors may use a single piece of board material (that cannot be pre cut), iron-mongery, rope and paint may be used but these must be supplied by the competitor. No other accessories permitted.

Materials: The County will supply the following materials: 4 lengths 6x1 (150x22mm) Treated Timber 4.8m 2 lengths 2x2 (50x47mm) Treated Timber 4.8m 2 lengths 3x3 (75x75mm) Treated Timber 1.8m Competitors will be required to bring their own nails, screws and fixings.

guns will not be allowed. Only battery powered drills and impact drivers will be allowed. No extra attachments on the drill are allowed. Screws and\or bolts may be used but these must be supplied by the competitors.

Notes: Both team members must wear suitable protective clothing. Templates are allowed.

MALE AND FEMALE TUG-OF-WAR Team: A team shall consist of eight pulling members. No more than two (2) members of a team shall be between the ages of 15 and 17 years on 1 September 2018 and the remainder of the team MUST be between 17 years of age and 26 years of age & under on 1 September 2018. And all competitors must be full members of a Club affiliated to N.F.Y.F.C. / Wales Y.F.C. You cannot compete for more than one club and county in one membership year. One male and one female team. Substitutions are allowed please refer to the N.F.Y.F.C. Rules. Notes: The 2019 N.F.Y.F.C. Tug-of-War Rules shall apply as set by the ToWA. Weights - 680 kg Men; 560 kg Ladies. Members to wear the same colour shirt/jerseys. Competitors' boots or shoes must not be `faked' in any way, i.e. the sole, heel and side of the heel shall be perfectly flush. No metal toecaps or metal toe plates are permitted. Metal heel tips that are flush on the side and the bottom of the heel are permitted. The judge(s) has/have the power and responsibility to disqualify a team or teams after a caution or disqualify without caution for any offence against the rules. Both sections will be run on a league basis if time allows otherwise they will be run on a knockout basis. Dylai’r holl gystadleuwyr fod yn aelodau llawn o glwb sy’n gysylltiedig gyda Ff.C.C.Ff.I. /C.Ff.I. Cymru. JUNIOR TUG-OF-WAR Team: A team shall consist of between 7 and 10 pulling members male or female who must be 12 years of age and over on the day of the competition and 17 years and under on 1st September 2018. (This means competitors MUST have attained their 12th birthday on the 1st of September 2018 and may be 18 on the day of the competition. (You cannot compete for more than one club and county in one membership year.) Substitues are allowed please see NFYFC rules. And all competitors must be full members of a Club affiliated to N.F.Y.F.C. / Wales YFC. Notes: The 2019 N.F.Y.F.C. Tug-of-War rules shall apply as set by the ToWA. The members of the team will be weighed as one and will not exceed:- 560 kg GENSB rules. ‘Lining up women in the team will give a bonus of 10 kg for each on the weight allowance, limited to a maximum team weight of 600 kg'. Members to wear the same colour shirt/jerseys. Competitors' boots or shoes must not be `faked' in any way, i.e. the sole, heel and side of the heel shall be perfectly flush. COACHES AND TRAINERS Only one Coach is permitted with each team during pulling. Only one Trainer or “Water Carrier” is permitted with each team. During pulling the Trainer shall take up position well clear of both teams and is not permitted to address any remark to them during actual pulling.

Competitors should wear their Club numbers in all competitions, and white coats in the

following:- Welsh Black Cattle Judging, Welsh Mule Sheep Judging, Section A Welsh

Mountain Pony Judging, Federation Display, An Item To Depict a Nursery Rhyme,

Cookery, Craft, Floral, Dressing up and Generation Game.

A member may take part in any two competitions and Main Ring Display or the Tableau.

4. Ni chaniateir i glwb gystadlu mewn mwy nag wyth cystadleuaeth, ond caniateir i glybiau

gystadlu mewn llai.

No Club will be allowed to compete in more than eight competitions, but clubs may compete

in less.

5. Arddangosir marciau pob cystadleuaeth mewn man cyhoeddus ar wahan i’r dair

cystadleuaeth olaf. Yn dilyn cyhoeddi marciau terfynol y Rali arddangosir marciau’r

cystadlaethau yma ynghyd â’r marciau terfynol.

Marks for all competitions will be publicly displayed, with the exception of the last three

competitions. Following the announcement of the final Rally Marks, these marks will be

displayed along with the final marks.

6. Os digwydd i ddau glwb fod yn gydradd gyntaf ar ddiwedd y dydd, dylid rhoi enw’r ddau

glwb ar Gwpan y Rali, ond dylid cynnal y Rali y flwyddyn canlynol gyda’r clwb a gafodd y

nifer fwyaf o wobrau cyntaf yn ystod y dydd.

If two Clubs should be joint first at the end of the day, the names of both Clubs should be

engraved on the Rally Cup, but the Rally the following year should be held by the Club

which gained the highest number of first places during the day

7. Argymhellir bod pob clwb yn dilyn rheolau Iechyd a Diogelwch a sicrhau bod popeth a

ddefnyddir ganddynt yn y Rali yn ddiogel ac yn saff.

It is advisable that every Club adheres to Health and Safety regulations and ensure that

everything used by them in the Rally is safe.

RHEOLAU CYFFREDINOL CEREDIGION GENERAL RULES

1. Rhaid i bob cystadleuydd fod yn aelod llawn o’r Mudiad erbyn y dyddiad

cau, ac o dan yr oedran priodol ar y 1af o Fedi 2018.

All competitors should be a full member of the Movement by the closing date, and under

the appropriate age on the 1st of September 2018.

2. Rhaid i’r cystadleuwyr ddangos eu Cardiau Aelodaeth neu codir dirwy o £5.

Competitors must show their Membership Cards or pay a fine of £5.

3. Ni chaniateir i aelodau gystadlu o dan ddylanwad y diod feddwol neu chyffuriau.

Members are not allowed to compete under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

4. Rhaid i’r aelodau ddilyn y rheolau a osodir ar gyfer pob cystadleuaeth.

Members must follow the rules laid down for each competition.

5. Os torrir unrhyw reol, hanerir marciau terfynol y gystadleuaeth. Hysbysir y

cystadleuwyr o hyn yn syth.

If any rule is broken, the final marks for the competition will be halved. The

Competitor will be informed of this immediately.

6. Amser (rheol cyffredinol) – Cosbir clybiau sy’n mynd dros yr amser penodedig ar raddfa

o ddau farc am bob 15 eiliad neu o ran hynny os na nodir yn wahanol yn rheol y

gystadleuaeth.

Time (general rule) – Clubs who exceed the time limit will incur penalties at a rate of

two marks for each 15 second or part thereof unless noted diffrenetly in the competition

rules.

7. Mae dyfarniad y beirniad yn derfynol.

The judge’s decision is final.

8. Dylid rhoi unrhyw gwyn swyddogol drwy Gadeirydd y Clwb, yn ysgrifenedig i’r

Trefnydd Sir o fewn hanner awr i’r gystadleuaeth orffen gyda blaendâl o £20 (ad-delir y

swm yma os profir fod sylfaen i’r gwyn). Bydd y Trefnydd Sir yn galw ar Gadeirydd a

Llywydd y Sir a Chadeirydd Pwyllgor Rheoli a Chyllid y Sir i drafod y gwyn. Os na

fydd y Swyddogion yma’n bresennol gelwir ar yr is Swyddogion. Hysbysir Cadeirydd y

Clwb o’r canlyniad yn syth.

An official complaint should be handed by the Club Chairman, in writing, to the County

Officer within half an hour of the end of competition, along with a deposit of £20 (this

will be repaid if the objection is upheld). The County Officer will call on the County

Chairman and President and the Chairman of the Management and Finance Committee

to discuss the complaint. If these Officials are not available the Vice Officials will be

called. The Club Chairman will be informed of the decision immediately.
