The reality

• Youthreach provides a programme of education, training and work experience for young people aged 15 – 20.

• The programme gives them the opportunity to gain qualifications, progress to further education, training or employment.

• The programme also provides comprehensive supports for students to help them succeed.

The typical Youthreach student?

• Specific learning difficulty• Family issues• Mental health problems• ADD or ADHD• Cultural or ethnic issues• May have spent very little time in school• Family may have moved around a lot• Physical health problems• Offending behaviour• May have been expelled from school
