    The A Cappella Society Presents

    Group Write Ups

    TAS YOUTH VOICES

The youth wing of The A Cappella Society is a public

programme run to extend training and performance

opportunities to young singers to learn and develop their skills

through popular music. This year, the team presents music they

have explored, and arranged under the guidance of Ms

Angelina Choo-Sassarak, founder of The A Cappella Society.

    TAS CHILDRENS POP CHOIR

The littlest ones from TAS will showcase their new choir as they

sing their way into your hearts. This is a training programme to

foster a solid foundation in singing and music appreciation and

    making new friends.

    ACAPPUCCINO

Bringing a fervent dedication in their presentation of songs with

their individual personalities, Acappuccino started as a group of

friends who came together to sing and perform. Performing a

mix of contemporary pop and jazz material, the group comes tofull circle as a vocal group and is currently working on new

    materials to present in 2014.

    The A Cappella Society Presents

    NANU

Fire hot, young and fresh, the latest line up of NANU

brings new perspectives to pop A Cappella

arrangements and a rich blend of voices that

distinguishes them apart from other vocal groups.

Their spunk and youthful energy, together with

professional Vocal Percussionist, Hekko Wicaksono,NANUs will energise any concert.

    KR A Cappella

Kent Ridge Acappella, or more fondly known as KR Aca, was

formed by a group of humble, music-loving residents of Kent

Ridge Hall at the National University of Singapore, way back in

1995. Many of us have only started singing in university but

through hard work and passion, we'll try our best to astound,

bedazzle, charm, delight and excite you with passion till the

    end of time!

    TAG

The Temasek A Cappella Group (TAG) is a closely knit

energetic group of student talents who hail from a

diverse range of main CCAs like the Temasek Chorale,

NCDCC and Netball, bonded by their love to perform.

TAG as it is popularly known, is an optional CCA that is

fuelled by a zest for singing a repertoire of numbers

ranging from pop to jazz genres. Despite a hectic

schedule balancing their academic and main CCA

commitments, the students have managed to find

time to come together to appreciate the beauty of

the human voice, unadulterated by musical instruments. It is soul music in its purest form.
