Categories include: board games, cards, sports, digital, girls, creative, arcade, etc. sections will be divided by shelves filled with featured games to buy.

Signature Acceptable

The Your Turn Signature is the key component of Your Turn visual identity. It’s the primary expression that graphically represents Your Turn across all visual materials throughout the company and the world. Correct use of the Your Turn Corporate Signature is essential in establishing a single, unified corporate branding image.

The Your Turn Corporate Signature consists of two components: the custom drawn Your Turn symbol (Upside down token) and the custom drawn logotype (Your Turn). Under no circumstances should any component of the Your Turn Corporate Signature be redrawn, modified or altered in anyway.

Reproduction of the Your Turn Corporate Signature must always be completed using the approved electronicfile art provided from Your Turn Corporate Communications. Never attempt to reproduce the Your Turn Corporate Signature from photocopies or scanned printed materials.

Page 6: YourTurn

The Your Turn logo is comprised of the Your Turn graphic symbol and the Your Turn logotype with a register mark set as a superscript following the logotype. It should not be altered in any manner that is not described in this style guide.

The Your Turn logo is distributed as an Encapsulated Postscript File (EPS) and a Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) and should never be recreated. These formats can be imported into most computer applications. The size of the Your Turn graphic in relation to the logotype is set as shown on this page and must be in the same proportion if reduced or enlarged.

Typography plays a major role in shaping a corporate brand. To help create a consistent identity for all printed and electronic materials generated by Your Turn, a standard fam-ily of typefaces has been chosen for exclusive use in all media (marketing materials, corporate communications, business form, signage, web site, etc.) Century Gothic was chosen for its contemporary appearance, its compatibility with the Your Turn Corporate Signature, and its high degree of readability in all sizes and weights in print and electronic media. Georgia was chosen for its readability and contrast with the Century Gothic family. Stationary

Letterhead

The letterhead stationery design is a good example of how the logo mark can be used independ-

ent of the logo. A large light grey “watermark” of the logo mark appears in the background of the

letterhead as a graphic element, partially protruding from the right hand side of the page. As is

noted elsewhere in this manual (__[page/section reference]__), the full logo appears in the letter-

head as well, complementing the usage of the mark alone.

A special variation of the Ursinus logo has been created for letterhead use, with the signature of

the logo placed higher and the stores's address placed underneath. It is important to note that

this version of the logo should not be used in any other context.

To ensure that the text of the letter works in harmony with the letterhead design, we recommend

that the left margin of the typed text be set at 1.5 inches. The recommended typefaces for use

within the body of the letter are Century Gothic and Century Gothic Bold.

Envelopes

The #10 envelope design employs a similar usage of the logo “watermark”, entering from the

right hand side of the envelope. The logo at upper left is the standard Ursinus logo, with the col-

lege's address appearing below in the Century Gothic 75 Bold typeface, in 6 point type. The U.S.

Postal Service recommends using a sans-serif font when addressing envelopes by computer, to

ensure that their postal machines can recognize the letterforms most effectively. Therefore, the

recommended typefaces for use when addressing college envelopes are Helvetica, Helvetica

Neue, and Arial.

To order envelopes for your department, please contact Story Communications.

Business cards

Unlike the letterhead and envelope stationery design, the business card design does not make

use of the logo “watermark”. The business card is designed in a vertical format, with ample use of

white space. The business card does use a special variation of the Your Turn logo without the date of

establishment included. Please refer to page 6 for guidelines on using the logo mark with or with-

out the establishment date.

To order business cards for your department, please contact College Communications.

Typefaces

The official Your Turn Store typeface is Century Gothic. Body copy (i.e. the body of a letter,

memo, or brochure) should be set in Helvetica Neue 55 Roman, no smaller than 9pts and no larg-

er than 11pts. Headlines and and subheads should be set in Century Gothic 95 black and

Century Gothic 75 Bold respectively.

Alternate approved typefaces include Century Gothic and Century Gothic bold. These faces should be used only when

the official font is unavailable and the same guidelines concerning size and weight apply.

Page 19: YourTurn

Once again, bold, powerful type reflects the strength of Your Turn. The italic treatment adds motion, suggests “forward movement” and denotes a dynamic company that truly is going places. The graphic swirl adds still more motion

ArtworkDigital files with .eps extensions should be used for printed materials. Those with .jpg extensions should be used primarily for onscreen viewing. Please consult your vendor for their preferred file format before submitting artwork for production.

Application sizesThe minimum application size for the Your Turn logo is 1.0 inch or 2.54 centimeters. The length is measured from the left side of the “T” to the right side of the ® mark. Your Turn logo proportions and limits

The Your Turn logo should occupy its own space. Always main-tain a generous “safe” area equal to half the height of the “Your Turn” in the logo on all sides of the logo. Note the clearly defined spacing limits in the examples.

For Your Turn vehicles, the decal is to be placed 2 inches or 5.08 centimeters below the handle, measured from the top of the Your Turn logo as indicated below. The decal is always placed on the right and left side doors as indicated. Please do not alter this placement. For vehicles in other countries, please use the standards as a guide.

Vehicles are identified with a decal of a standardized size, which is placed on the door. The decal is in full color. Please note that our corporate brand line is not used on the vehicles. Only the corporate brand and business line are to be identified on vehicles. Also, the only identification on the vehicle is on the doors as indicated below. The decal is in full color with pre-spaced letters so that when it is applied to the door, the white finish of the vehicle shows through. The height of the “T” in Your Turn is a fixed below handle. It is unacceptable to alter the artwork in any way. For decal placement on the door, please refer to the drawing below. The decal is always centered left to right on the do.

When using a colored background, only the white letters should be translucent. Be sure to maintain minimum clear space and size requirements as indicated below. Many times our logo (and business line) will have to be staged against a background and constructed as a sign cabinet, either non-illuminated or internally illuminated. For these types of signs, the preferred treatment is with white letters against a option of either Your Turn red or green background. Alternatively, a black background can be used if necessary. Be sure to use a durable paint or vinyl finish. Sign cabinets can also be internally illuminated. When using a Your Turn color background, the preferred treatment is to have the entire sign face illuminated, using translucent materials such as polycarbonate with applied vinyl graphics.

Page 23: YourTurn

When incorporating a billboard sign, it is important to consider landlord requirements, city/local restrictions, visibility and other signage materials used nearby. The preferred treatment is a white sign cabinet with 3d reproduction of Your Turn signature (below).

Page 24: YourTurn

Your Turn employee shirt templates have been developed for use in corporate use. Your Turn associates may order shirts from http://doc6.yourturn.com/brandmanual/shirt/. All material should be cotton.

Page 25: YourTurn

Your Turn glass doors should always be tinted with green and red, green for entrance and red for exit.. Our Your Turn symbol should always be used as 3d objects in place of standard handles in the appropriate placement. Other obstructions or conditions may require an alternate placement. If the door is made of another material other than glass, or if surface obstructions are present. Clear space requirements should be maintained and it should be placed as indicated below.

Page 26: YourTurn

White recycled fabric should always be used for Your Turn store bags. Our Your Turn logo should always be used (with or without business line) in the appropriate signature lock-up. The screen print should be centered left to right. Other obstructions or conditions may require an alternate placement. If the bag is made of another material other than fabric, or if surface obstructions are present, a Your Turn logo can be used with Your Turn purple letters. Clear space requirements should be maintained and it should be placed as indicated below.

Page 27: YourTurn

It is important that your games and shelves will fit. Use paper cutouts of your play areas to lay on the floor plans. Perhaps a better idea is to buy a plans kit which may include miniature Styrofoam cutouts of games and other items to actually build yourself a model of your home. Game/Play areas - minimum 300 sq. ft. - recommended 255 sq. ft. with at least a 4 by 12 ft shelving. Placing a shelves between areas will provide a category barrier between sections. Cashier Plans - minimum 520 sq. ft. Every store must have Your Turn path decaled to on white concrete floor leading to every section, different sections must be decal colored based on direction sign.
