As Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID- 19) is detected in new jurisdictions, Saskatchewan public health is updating recommendations to residents and health care providers related to travel to and from countries with confirmed cases. “The number of countries that have confirmed COVID-19 cases continues to grow,” Saskatchewan Ministry of Health’s Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab said. “While the risk to residents travelling abroad remains low, people travelling to and from affected areas should monitor for fever, cough and difficulty breathing for 14 days after travel. If you have these symptoms, con- tact HealthLine 811 for assessment and direction.” The active travel health notices and travel advice are available at Health Canada - Latest Travel Health Advice page at https://www.canada.ca/en/pub- lic-health/services/diseases/2019-nov- el-coronavirus-infection/latest-trav- el-health-advice.html. The risk of COVID-19 to Saskatchewan residents remains low. As of February 27, there are no laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province. “We can still limit the spread of COVID- 19 in Canada,” Shahab said. “Monitoring your symptoms, staying home if you are ill and practicing personal protection like good hand hygiene (and respiratory eti- quette) remains vital to containing the transmission.” Advice for Travellers: If you have travelled to Hubei in the last 14 days, self-isolate at home for 14 days after leaving the area and actively moni- tor for symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, fever and difficulty breathing. Do not go to school, university, work, day- care, sporting or social events or religious gatherings. If you have been in close contact with someone who is ill with COVID-19, you should self-isolate for 14 days from your last contact and actively monitor for symptoms. ........ ...Your.Daily.Fix... What kind of day will tomorrow be? To find out what the stars say, read the forecast given for your birth sign.

For Monday, March 2, 2020ARIES(March 21 to April 19)This is a fast-paced, energetic day! You

feel mentally alert and interested to talk to others. Meanwhile, with Venus in your sign, you’re so charming they will want to talk to you!

TAURUS(April 20 to May 20)Money, cash flow and something to do

with your possessions is your focus today. (Not surprising, because you are the financial wizard of the zodiac!)

GEMINI(May 21 to June 20)Today the Moon is in your sign, which

makes you feel nurturing and protective to others. This heightens your emotions and increases your luck in a tiny way. (Every bit helps.)

CANCER(June 21 to July 22)Your ability to charm others and nego-

tiate to get what you want is excellent now because Venus is at the top of your chart. However, be patient with partners and loved ones.

LEO(July 23 to Aug. 22)A heart-to-heart conversation with a

female friend could be important today. Perhaps it’s time to think about your goals and future direction.

VIRGO(Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)This is a favorable time for you because

other people are willing to help you. They are even willing to give you gifts. (It’s a good time to ask for a loan or mort-gage.)

LIBRA(Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)You are affected by your environment

more than any other sign. Do your best to

deal with the increased activity and chaos on the home front. Get on top of things.

SCORPIO(Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)This is a strong time for those involved

with the arts or any kind of creative activity. It’s also an excellent time if you’re involved in sports, because you are proactive and energetic!

SAGITTARIUS(Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)You might see ways to boost your

earnings now because you are ambitious to make money. Be patient, because this year you will get richer!

CAPRICORN(Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)Try to get more physical exercise to

blow off any pent-up steam that might be building up within you because fiery Mars is in your sign. You might be com-ing on too strong when talking to others.

AQUARIUS(Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)Appreciate the beauty of your daily

surroundings. Appreciate how much love there is in your daily world.

PISCES(Feb. 19 to March 20)You are empowered now with the Sun

and Mercury in your sign. People admire you, and they will also listen to you.

YOU BORN TODAY You are sensitive and caring. Family

and friends are important to you and you hold them close. This year you’re wrap-ping up many things you began nine years ago by letting go of what is no longer relevant and moving on to some-thing new and different. You are lighten-ing your load to get ready for new begin-nings!

Birthdate of: Rebel Wilson, actress; Eric Ripert, chef; Daniel Craig, actor.

On a hot, dusty day a cowboy rode into a small frontier town. After dismounting, he walked behind his horse, lifted it’s tail and kissed it where the sun don’t shine. An old man rocking by the general store witnessed the whole thing.“Whudd’ya do that fer?” he asked.“Got chapped lips,” the cowboy replied. The old man asked, “Does that help?”The cowboy said, “nope, but it keeps me from lickin’ ‘em.”

A diner at a country inn is shocked to see on the menu a dish of “hickory-smoked possum jowls in syrup.” He summons a waiter to complain. The waiter looks at the menu. Then he flings it down and yells to the owner in the kitchen, “Hey, the printers forgot to translate the menu into French again!”

Chicken Alfredo BakeIngredients1 lb. penne4 tbsp. butter, plus more for greasing baking dish2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 tsp. Italian seasoningKosher saltFreshly ground black pepper2 cloves garlic, minced4 tbsp. all-purpose flour3 c. half-and-half1/2 c. freshly grated parmesan1 c. shredded mozzarella1/4 c. freshly chopped parsley

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain immediately and set aside. preheat oven to 350° and butter a large 9”-x-13” baking dish. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Season both sides of chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add to skillet and cook until chicken is cooked through, 8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and wipe the skillet clean. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing crosswise. Make sauce: Return skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Add garlic and cook until garlic is fragrant, about 30 seconds. Whisk in flour and cook until the mixture is bubbling and golden, 1 minute more. Gradually pour in half-and-half, whisking constantly. Bring mixture to a simmer and stir in parmesan. Let simmer until sauce thickens, 1 minute, then season with salt and pepper. In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, and alfredo sauce. Spread about half of the pasta mixture on the bottom of the baking dish, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella. Add the remaining pasta mixture and top with more mozzarella. Bake until cheese is melty, about 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
