Dear resident
This year’s Band D council tax is £684.52, a reduction of £3.10.
Forthefifthyearinarowtherehasbeen no increase in your council tax bill.
Despite the ongoing challenges with the economy and reductions infundingforlocalauthorities, I am particularly proud that this year we have found the majority of the required savings in our backofficefunctionstobalanceourbooks, whilstmaintainingthehigh quality services that our residents and communities rightly expect. This has been achieved alongside our landmark policies such as the FamilyRecoveryProgramme, neighbourhood budgets and housing renewal as well as the
major improvements to landmarks like Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.
