THERMAL INSULATIONThe PVC on a Tensile Membrane Structure has a UV blocker in the fabric coating to prevent harmful UVA and UVB rays – this blocks more than 99% of the sun’s damaging rays. Some fabrics also incorporate a Heat Shield and pearlescent pigment to reduce solar gain. Unlike other conventional buildings the Tensile Membrane Structures are cool and pleasant yet it does not feel damp and cold underneath.

LONG-TERM LOW MAINTENANCEA practicable and economical feature of a Tensile Membrane Structure is that the PVC stays cleaner for longer than other materials and when it does need cleaning it is simple and fast! New improved fabric coatings provide exceptional dirt resistance and the super smooth surfaces reduce the level of maintenance required to keep these structures looking their best.

LIGHT TRANSMISSIONOne of the primary benefits of a PVC Tensile Membrane is the amount of light that is transmitted. We offer a selection of fabrics that range from medium to very-high light transmission. This means the fabric allows a lot of natural light to illuminate the area beneath the canopy eliminating the need of lighting during the day.

WARRANTY FOR LONG LIFETensile Membrane fabric is continually proving to be a very sustainable construction material and is becoming an increasingly preferred method to cover large areas such as sports courts, learning areas and stadium seating. The fabrics that we use are backed with warranties of up to 15 years (and life expectancies of up to 25 years).
