1.Putinthebattery.Withthelaptopupsidedown,lineupthebatteryhingeholesattheendsofthebatterywiththehingesonthelaptop.Twistthebatterytowardsyoutoclosethebattery.Thenclosethebatterylock.

2.Removeallthepackagingandplasticfilmfromyourlaptop'slidandscreen.

3.Plugitin.

1. Windows updates

Updatesareoftenlargefiles,soitwillbequickerifyouuseaWi-Fiorhomebroadbandconnection–anditwon'tuseupyourdataallowance.FollowthesestepstokeepWindowsuptodate:

1.Click atthebottomleftofthescreen.

2.ChooseAll Programs.

3.ClickWindows Update.

4.Click Let me choose my settings.

5.SelectCheck for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them fromthedropdownmenu.ClickOK.Windowswillnowcheckforupdates.

Tip:Updatesareoftenlargefiles,soit’llbequickerifyouuseaWi-Fiorhomebroadbandconnection–anditwon’tuseupyourdataallowance.

2.Clickontheenvelopeicontoopenyourtexts.

Yourusernameandpasswordwillbeinyourtextinbox.

1. Makesureyou’reconnectedtotheinternet,thenopenupMcAfeebydouble-clickingtheicononyourdesktop.

2.Afterafewminutesyou'llseethisscreen.Typeyourusernameandpassword.

ReadandacceptthelicenceagreementandclickNext.

3.ClickFinish.Onceyou’reregistered,wesuggestyouconnecttoWi-Fiandrunanupdate.YoucanopenupMcAfeeanytimebyclickingtheicononthedesktop.

4.WhenMcAfee'sfinishedupdating,itmightaskyoutorestartyourcomputer.WerecommendyouclickRestart my computer now.
