Mr. Sogno began his career in New York City aftergraduating with honors at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne,Switzerland. He joined HVS International New York, andhe established a new venture at the Cushman &Wakefield headquarters in Manhattan.

In 2005, Mr. Sogno began working for Kingdom HotelInvestments (KHI), founded by HRH Prince Al-Walid binTalal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, a member of the SaudiRoyal family, and asset managed various hotels brandedby, amongst others, Four Seasons, Fairmont, Raffles,Mövenpick, and Swissotel. He also participated in theInitial Public Offering (IPO) of KHI at the London StockExchange as well as the Dubai International FinancialExchange.

Mr. Sogno is the co-writer of the ‘Hotel AssetManagement' textbook published by the HospitalityAsset Managers Association (HAMA), the AmericanHotel & Lodging Education Institute, and the Universityof Denver. A graduate of International Hotel School, Mr. Novellais a founding member of Global Asset Solutions andcurrently Managing Director overseeing clientsrelationship and asset management.

A specialist in pre-opening hotels and airlines,operations, hotel investments, sales and residentialmarketing. He has worked in several hotels asOperations Manager, in addition to several airlines, hecarried out the launch of Etihad Airways (Abu Dhabi),which brings him the experience of having workedwith multiple cultures around the world.

Mr. Novella launched the division of Global AssetSolutions in Europe and Middle East, back in 2015 andwas initially in charge of the Katara portfolio includingsix iconic hotels throughout Europe (namely theCarlton in Cannes, the Amstel in Amsterdam, the GaliaExcelsior in Milan amongst others). Mr Mittas holds a MSc in International HotelManagement and acquired a wide experience of thetourism industry as he has spent more than 20 years inmultinational companies ( Conrad, IHG, Swissotel,Dorint, Nobu) in Europe (Greece, Belgium, TheNetherlands, Spain) and Africa (Rwanda, Senegal).

In 2012 he became Regional in IHG heading Iberia andlater the Katara Hospitality Portfolio of the companywhich includes hotels such as the Carlton Cannes andthe Amstel InterContinental. A year later he becomesone of the four responsible of the program “FutureFinance Leaders“ in IHG and is awarded “Hotel FinancialController Europe”. In 2015, he decided to diversify hiscareer by joining one of the most luxurious marinas inthe Mediterranean, the one of Barcelona, and threeyears later he joined the most deluxe hotel in theSouthern Europe the Nobu Ibiza.

Mr Mittas is in charge of all Financial Structure andoversight for individual hotels within Global AssetSolutions as well as large corporate clients.

Mr. Slors has more than 30 years of experience in thehospitality industry and has a great knowledge of bothhotel operations and large multinational hospitalitycorporations. This makes him an ideal supportspecialist for hotel owners and investors in order tomaximise the value of hotel assets.

In 1988 he started working for different hotels as afinancial controller (The Kensington Close, the LondonRitz, the Hong Kong Prudential, the Saint Georges, LeMeridien Piccadilly and the Waldorf, to name a few).Subsequently, Mr. Slors became Group FinancialAccountant at Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts,followed by VP Finance roles at Le Meridien and theDorchester Collection.
