Policy Revision in India
• Innovations in the Mediclaim Policy:
I. Gold Plan- allows you to select a program
that caters to your long term needs -
offers higher sub-limits for Maternity,
room rent and some other procedures
II. Silver Plan- in turn offers similar benefits
with some simplifications like
standardization of Maternity Benefits,
simplification of room rent caps,etc.
• Medical claims now reimbursed within 3
days (earlier 18 days or more)
• Policy awareness campaigns covering
employees across locations led to an
increase in enrolments :
I. 36% of employees opted for Mediclaim
Top-Ups
II. ~40% of employees opted for Accident
and Life insurance top-ups
III. 42% of employees opted for Parental
insurance
Health & Safety of Employees
• Monthly review of Occupational Health
and Safety(OHS) across plants
