Advertising with Sports

DisplayThe JCC is happy to be working with Sports Display, Inc., an independent vendor offering advertising opportunities on the electron-ic bulletin board adjacent to the Sports & Wellness Desk. While the Sports Display, Inc. company compensates the JCC for the opportunity to use this space and gives us a chance to promote some of our own pro-grams, we want our members and supporters to know that advertisers are not directly supporting the JCC when they purchase ad-vertising from Sports Display. The JCC has many sponsorship and advertising options for anyone interested in directly supporting our programs.

Don’t miss this high-spirited event, sprinkled with familiar stadium favorites and time-honored baseball reflections. Jews and Baseball brings to life the contributions of Jewish major leaguers and explores the special meaning that baseball has had in the lives of American Jews. It is very much the story of immigration, assimilation, bigotry, heroism, the passing on of traditions, and the shattering of stereotypes. Written by author and Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Ira Berkow, the film is narrated by Academy Award-winner Dustin Hoffman.
