1. EVERY CLASS WHICH IS OFFERED HEREIN WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT RULES OF THE USEF.
2. There will be no switching of entries or refunds for scratches after 8:30 A.M. the day of the show without a Veterinarians Certificate. In case of horses or riders being entered and not exhibited, the entry fee will still be due in full and not refunded if already paid. refund will only be made if the class is canceled.
3. entry Fees must be Paid in FUll before numbers are issued and entry forms must be properly signed and given to the Secretary. A returnable de-posit of $1.00 may be charged for numbers issued.
4. Every animal entered for competition shall be under the control of the Committee but neither Gardnertown Farm nor the Committee will be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur. The Committee, Gardnertown Farm or it’s owners and staff, employees or agents shall not be liable whatsoever for any injury to person or property of any spectator, visitor, exhibitor, groom or any person by reason of any event occurring during the show including Gross Neglect by anyone. Signatures on the Entry Form are confirmation of this agreement being read and understood.
5. Every entry at the show shall constitute an agreement that the person making it shall be subject to the rules of the show and that every owner, lessee, trainer, man-ager, agent, coach, rider and horse is eligible as entered and that the owner and/or any of his representatives are bound to accept as final the decision of the Committee on any question arising under said rules and agree to hold the show, their officials, directors, and employees for any action taken. The signatures on the Entry Form are confirmation of this agreement.

7. Fences used in all hunter classes will include those which simulate the obstacles found in the huntingfield; wall, brush, gate, coop, natural and white post and rails, and in and out. Fences used in the jumper classes will include walls, panels, coops and gates.
8. All exhibitors must appear in proper riding attire with approved protective headgear; protective headgear must be worn at all times whenever mounted orschooling.
9. NO PERSON IS ALLOWED IN THE RING EXCEPT ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS.
10. POST ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT AN AD-DITIONAL CHARGE OF $25.00
11. THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOLING EXCEPT IN ANY DESIGNATED AREAS AT TIMES, AND ONLY HORSES AND RIDERS ENTERED IN THE SHOW MAY BE SCHOOLED AT ANY TIME. ENTRY NUM-BER MUST BE WORN.
12. All dogs and other small animals will be on a leash at all times, if retrieved by staff unleashed a fee of $10.00 will be charged for their return.
13. The Committee reserves the right to decline any entries and to return entry fees before the starting of the classes involved, without being liable for com-pensation.
14. The Committee reserves the right to remove any spectator or exhibitor or their agents and repre-sentatives from the show grounds for any improper behavior, since the grounds are private property and presence is by invitation only.
15. THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COM-BINE OR CANCEL ANY CLASSES OR TO DIVIDE CLASSES WHEN ENTRIES WARRANT. IT WILL REQUIRE 6 ENTRIES TO FILL A CLASS.
16. Lunch recess and schooling in the rings is at the discretion of the committee.
17. There will be an Office Charge of $20.00 for any or all exhibitors who choose not to show and scratch entries, and they will be billed for any entries received by mail or phone.
18. All exhibitors must keep custody of their numbers; they will be held responsible for all entry fees for classes where their number appears on the judge’s card for that show. All Award Checks must be cashed within 60 days or they will not be honored.
19.IMinors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. (If your competition bans motorized vehicles, please contact our office for further instruction.)

Every entry will be charged a $25 office charge.
20. Stabling available on a first come, first served basis. Stalls are provided under a permanent roof and are 10' x 10' vinyl with doors. No initial bedding provided. Stall Fee: $130.00.
21. If jumping orders are to be used, they will be an-nounced and posted at least one hour before the class is to begin.
22. Hunter classes to be judged on soundness and perfor-mance. Any additional specifications will be noted.
23. Trophy and eight ribbons awarded in every class, unless otherwise specified.
24. Junior and Amateur Owner Hunter sections may be com-bined if there are eight (8) or less in either section.
25. Prize money will be paid by check drawn to cash andwill be presented to exhibitor at the in gate, thereafter the Horse Show’s responsibility terminates. The Horse Show will not stop payment or duplicate awards for any lost check.

USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4---H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
