PROJECT COORDINATOR
Job title Project Coordinator (Fixed term 2 year contract)
Department Educator Facing Programme and Services
Pay Grade 4 (up to £24,441 per annum)

purpose
Responsible for the coordination of educator facing projects, working with the
Project Manager to ensure they are set up, planned, delivered, and
evaluated to time and to budget.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Project Managers to ensure the smooth running of projects, through discussion,
planning, reporting, setting up of systems, evaluation and communication.
Set up and maintain systems (including databases and spreadsheets) to record and
monitor project activities.
Work with the Project Manager to ensure the efficient and successful delivery of the
Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) funded Maths in Context project
The above tasks are not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform
different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the charity and its overall
objectives.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the delivery of the EEF Maths in Context project
Develop and maintain strong relationships with project schools
Coordinate the recruitment of schools to the project, working with the Project Manager
to develop appropriate communications and set up systems to track recruitment
Feed into the project plan, and monitor activity against it
Report on project activity to funders and other stakeholders including senior managers
on a regular basis
Coordinate project communications - communicating regularly with project teachers,
schools, consultants, partner organisations and funders to provide updates and
necessary information
Organise attend and administer a variety of project specific events and meetings
Provide proactive high level support on various projects and programmes
To include things like overseeing design and production of materials, creating and
feeding in to project plans and updating website content
Take a proactive role in project delivery; working with project managers to review and
update systems and processes, identifying areas for development, taking initiative and
problem solving when needed
Take an active role in the monitoring and evaluation of projects
Collate, analyse and prepare evaluation data for internal and external reporting
Work with the Project Manager and Senior Programmes and Services Manager to use
evaluation data to inform the development of future projects and programmes
Provide high level customer service both internally and externally with a variety of people
including teachers, consultants and senior management team
Take and log calls from teachers and other stakeholders, passing on to the Advisory
Service where appropriate
Provide clear, informative and regular updates and reports as needed to internal and
external project stakeholders

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The Project Coordinator will need to manage a number of competing tasks at one time. This
role requires a proactive, organised and practical approach to ensure projects are delivered
effectively and efficiently, providing high quality support and customer service across the
organisation, both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing the expectations of a
number of stakeholders with competing priorities.

line customer enquiries.

ensure this continues to underpin all aspects of our work.
