The Young Americans, a company of performers and staff members, will present three days of workshops in

voice, dance, acting, and other aspects of the performing arts for

5th-12th grade students.

The Nebraska Regional Programs are excited to have The Young Americans back in Nebraska

again! Get ready to experience music, dance, and performance in

a new way!

This 3-day event will focus on developing teamwork, respect,

accomplishment, caring, self-discipline, a sense of

self-worth, and so much more!

This activity will conclude on Saturday with a show performed by the Young Americans with

the students from across Nebraska! Parents are encouraged to attend the performance!

Nebraska Regional Programs will be providing performance tickets for parents/guardians and siblings. There will be a designated table with your tickets at the door. Additional tickets may also be purchased at the door (ticket prices are set by The Young Americans). Do you plan to attend the Saturday performance in Hastings and to transport your child home?

Thursday – Transportation to/from Hastings will be provided by Nebraska Regional Programs and details will be sent to registered students. There will be time to work on homework Thursday evening. Friday – Practice, Practice, Practice! There will be study time during the evening. Saturday – Parents are encouraged to attend the show and should arrive at Central Community College in Hastings at 1:30 pm. The performance will take place at 2:00 pm.

Students will be given a Young Americans t-shirt and are expected to wear this shirt during the performance on Saturday. Please check your child’s t-shirt size (sizes are adult).
